Ironside.

Starting to think I'm missing out on a trick. Who do you reckon I should threaten, and any recommended lawyers? Seems everyone here knows one!

Doesn't sound that way, which ain't really a surprise.

I would call ML and ask him myself but Grendull has come over all Doctor receptionist about it. Probably never had his number in the first place. Was just a sad attempt to be a billy big balls.

Thought Michael was going to give it to you. And I'm not sure why you would expect anyone to give a private number out.

How do you know he hasn't?

I wasn't expecting or suggesting that anyone give out a private number. That was Grendulls idea, not mine.

There are two rumours that:

- Allegedly CCFC has told Northampton that Sixfields will not be required next season for home fixtures. (Twitter)

- Another rumour that according to a CCFC fan his daughter works at a car dealership, who was told by Carl Baker that City would be at the Ricoh this season. (Facebook)

Wasn't someone saying that the agent of one of the players we've just signed was quoted on radio as saying that the player signed on the understanding that we will be playing at the Ricoh and not Suxfields?

Don't take that as gospel, I may well have totally got the wrong end of the stick.

Who knows..

Either people are really on the wind up or there is some legs in this.

Your comment could have legs Tony, 2 people on Facebook have mentioned hearing something similar on the radio as well.

Can't see that it could happen without clearing it through Michael first.

Personally, I think his biggest mistake wasn't failing to give out details, but mentioning it full-stop if he wasn't going to.

Many people talk to many others on all 'sides' of this yet don't pass on their conversations - the vaguest hint of a chat with no detail is, however, a bit daft.

I agree.

Trouble is, it seems few are interested in this, which I find strange. Personally, I would like to know what Joy had to say for herself over 6 hours, and the sorts of questions Rob S asked.

By leaving the feedback until after the "event" (if at all) he can claim anything that comes out was a result of this meeting (which we can then all question of course) but by giving us feedback earlier, well, we can actually give his group credit if it seems to have made a difference.

And yes, as Rob said earlier, there will always be some who want more detail than he can give NW.... ;)

True, although possibly a savage indictment on how much her words have value!

But yes, I agree. If she said say what you want about it, and you've said you've had the meeting... you're kind of setting yourself up to tell a litle more, at least!

You are correct. In a very brief sports bulletin during the 8am news on the Shane O'Connor show, Geoff Foster revealed that danny Swanson had signed based on information from his agent that we would be back at the Ricoh this season.

Actually he didn't say that at all.

What was said Grendel?

He said he'd be really excited if they could play at the Ricoh he had heard some positive things but would have signed anyway.
