Cant see us getting a result here at all. I know its preseason but we're only just over 2 weeks till the season kicks off. Predictions? Lineups?

I predict that Astute will get sunburnt. Don't mind the result too much, as long as we don't get hammered of course

I think if we have a real good go then there is no reason we can't get a victory from the fixture. I am going with 1-0 City, Tudgay to score.

My lineup would be: Allsopp, Phillips, Clarke, Johnson, Pugh, Swanson, Fleck, Thomas, O'Brien, Miller, Tudgay

To be fair if we sign Tudgay and imo 4 solid signings then this team has half a chance of avoiding relegation?

So 5 new signings just to have a chance of avoiding relegation? Someone's optimistic

The current squad + Tudgay imo will be good enough for another lower midtable finish imo

4 more signings on top of that and we should be pushing for top 8/play offs

This is of course without knowing how any of the new signings will do for us and assuming they are at least competent for this level

I think we're about the same as last season. OK first 11, but any injuries in key areas (especially goal scoring) and we could struggle.

Bring in a CM and a couple of strikers for some money, and I might become optimistic of a cheeky playoff challenge.

Johnson out with an arm injury due to an incident with a lift at Charles de Gaulle airport according to cov city mad. Noel Whelan mkII?

I work with a number of Wednesday fans who said he would be amazing for a few games then spend weeks out with a mystery injury. Seems he does stuff like this quite a lot.

Christano Biraghi gives the Italians a very early lead, curling into the top corner to beat Burge after initial attempt hit the wall and rebounded back to his feet
