Words fail me!! 500 season tickets maximum. Possibly 100 paid for vs. 8,000 at Ricoh should we return. The Shitsu muppet show just don't get it!! Always quoting the same old bull shite!

And he has the front to say ccfc will only come back if it's to benefit the club. Really annoyed me.

It's unreal! None of them think then it will benefit the club if we come back to the Ricoh?

Apparently not, Just an estimated 3m is ticket sales alone.

Not to mention sponsors and attracting better players, saving suture generations of fans, bring pride back to the city?

I've not read the article so I could be way off. But why aren't those Northampton bellends paying for it.
They must be laughing their tits off.

Do you think we should kidnap Timmy et al and see if Joy would pay the ransom which would be a return to the Ricoh?

so this is what you get when you pay the league one average rent of 170k, a half built league two quality ground where unless you pay extra to redo the pitch you'll be canceling games and playing in a quagmire.

This bad joke just gets worse doesn't it?

Anyone any clue what the actual figure is...I guess it all depends on the extent of the work involved.

Anyway....Its a fucking piss take regardless of whether its £500 or £500K....

Fuck off Sisu, Fuck off Cardoza, Fuck off Football.

Wouldn't be surprised if paying for this pitch was part of the original deal, funny how they have now wheeled out Waggott as spokesman, must be his turn !

We need F&B money over actual people paying to come and watch the team and he thinks he's putting a team together to push for promotion what a complete sisu muppet thought he was ok but he's an absolute sisu tosser

I hope the FL know about this amazing upturn in sales!! they were worried last year about the gates if they see this they must step in and stop these owners from carrying on.. The club is not viable and if it wasn't for Wilson and a lucky cup draw what would the club do to complete the FL fixtures,, as thats all they really care about....

I cannot stick this Waggott bloke and all he stands for, imo he is worse than Fisher, the typical run with the hare, hunt with the hounds merchant. He is laughed about at the club and beyond, agents think he's a joke but this joke has ripped the club apart. Our academy to start with, been quiet productive well that has been changed, Rioch left and others and replaced by inferior people I have been told the academy production line is finished, the best prospects are being snapped up by the likes of Villa, Leicester, Blues and Albion. I have a grandson there and been told as soon as one of those show an interest, which they have, move him. The debacle and damage at our club goes a lot deeper than the first team and Sixfields

Sorry to hear your Grandson will have to move on, but once Rioch moved on that was one of the final nails in the coffin, he could see it coming but like all the staff there they are not allowed to speak up even after they have left.

You are only as good as the trainers you have?

The kids have no ambition to play for Cov any more.

Good point. I think our owners believe for us to be promoted we need a pitch that suits our style of play. Where as Northampton probably don't really care. 500 season tickets sold. Fuck sake. Crying shame.

The kids used to go up or past the Ricoh and look at it in awe.
They had an incentive to support or play for CCFC
They didn't care who owned the Ricoh or got the food and beverage.

To be honest I still feel the same.
Just get us back to the Ricoh I don't care who owns it and in reality it does not really matter with the right rental agreement and buying into the food and beverages.

I don't think THE owners know one style of one football to another,, spending money on a NTFC pitch was i'm sure put in the deal to go there..I think you are giving them, much more credit than they deserve, as for crying shame i'm not sure 99% of people would agree some think 500 is 500 to many...

Wait, I thought all Waggott and Fisher did was lie and they wouldn't put any money into the football side so is it even true? :thinking about:

Although if true it should be covered by the rent to have an acceptable playing surface.

I'm 30 and still dream about playing for City whether it is at Wembley or the park.

To be fair, times have changed, I have been reading other posts where myself (35) and older no doubt have been slagging the Ricoh off for lack of soul etc etc but the kids today do take a lot of interest in stadiums, they are wowed by the Emirates and the Ethiad and I know a lot of lads my boys age who think the Ricoh is a "sick" stadium (thats good apparantly).

The point is whether we like it or not the Ricoh is a massive pull for the kids, the kids that we need to take this club forward in years to come. Ive already lost one of my boys to Man Utd and has said he doesnt want to watch Coventry, I have another who is still keen but talks less about them, I read him out the squad from last night and didnt know most of the players

I have shown my boys Highfield Road and they keep saying "the Ricoh is much better", times change and these are our next generation of supporters, like Italiahorse said, the kids dont care about the politics.

Exactly.

Quite astonishing the shape this club is in that we are having to fund this and not Northampton Town.

Would say at the moment that the Ricoh is a very sick stadium.

Are they for fucking real??

I am sure they would have paid for a couple of grass seeds at the Ricoh. Definitely. 100%.
