It's not the worst squad by any means as I already pointed out. Thorn league one season is the worst.

well if you've pointed it out, thats it then, an utter disgrace that someone should attempt to go against your infallible word. The pair of you should hang your heads in shame and apologize to Fry-ccfc right this minute.

I seem to recall the season we were relegated from the Premier League Gary McAllister commented that he saw the writing on the wall in the pre season friendly with Benfica. I think his words were "I knew we were in trouble". I agree that it is too early for panic but I would prefer a great pre season when we were clicking, banging in goals and keeping clean sheets. Not the Coventry City way though, is it?

Although fearful of being lambasted for stating an opinion, I do feel that the squad appears to be somewhat weaker than would be the ideal.

I think we could be in big troub in other words.

Consider yourself well and truly lambasted!!

We'll have to wait and see where we are at the end of the season to make that call, like I said before don't know hardly any of the players that have come in, so really can't make judgement yet.

But give it time I'm sure you will be asking for Presley s head sooner rather then later

So are you saying that maybe Thorn wasn't a shit manager but it was the fault of the squad he was allowed by SISU?

I'm saying thorn put together the worst squad we've ever had.

So SISU got rid of his best players....just like they are doing to SP.....and it is the fault of the manager and not SISU?

The best players left because they wanted to play in the division above. They weren't forced out neither were the the ones who have left this season. These players leave because they want to.

So you are saying that these players asked for a transfer? Because this is what players normally do when they want to move. Just like Clarke did.

It is more like SISU wanted to sell for the cash, and the players were given a way out of the shitfest SISU have caused. If they are worth a fee they are sold. If they can't get a fee they put them in a bomb squad.

We got good money for the players who didn't let their contracts run down eg/ 2.25 million + 2 loan players for Wilson. Anyone would accept that not just sisu. Your argument is flawed everywhere.

they should apologize because it is clearly obvious that thorne's team with a few exceptions, was completely shit and the worst team we've had in recent years.

Worst sky blue squad in History

What was the squad like in 1896? Personally I didn't rate them when I watched a couple of games via my time machine.

That's more a reflection of the manager that many on here thought was one of the best they had ever seen.

A fabulous, inspiring story of triumph over adversity.

Bankrupt and into oblivion owing to a shyster owner, had to play in Gloucestershire for years owing to the politicking between Welsh FA and English FA. Returned to their roots, and got a handy boost by a local winning the lottery and deciding he'd like to spunk some of it on the club.

The kind of story that warms the heart and reminds you football is worth following.

We know little of triumph. We used to know mediocrity, but that was replaced by failure with a side order of insanity.
