Sylvan ebanks blake - 2 years out of form and not much game time. Would be brilliant in a city shirt if given minutes and confidence comes with. Last played for Ipswich back end of last season. Knows the area from his time at wolves. Worth a gamble I recon?

Agree with Ebanks-Blake. One of those players that was too good for the Championship but not good enough for the Prem. Getting on a bit now I suspect, but he has a habit of sticking them in the onion bag and would surely do a job at this level.

I know SP loves German football so Iwould forge a link with one of the German teams to loan their younger players. They understand his philosophy and would welcome the chance to play abroad at such a young age. If we brought in a defensive midfielder and a quick forward from say, Dortmund or Stuttgart youth team or under 23 team then I think all would benefit.

Also Heskey is out of contract and has been stated as just wants to play and for all his faults at this level he would be ideal.
