Tbh you'd get awful odds on us to stay up, probably something like 1.5, so isn't worth my money. Like I said everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I wasn't saying I'm right and you're wrong.

I'm just annoyed at what is stereotypical of City fans (and people from the city), that is them just disregarding our chances (without researching/thoroughly looking at all the components that come into play). How many times do you here someone say 'oh typical city' when we lose/draw a game, without taking into account the reasons for the loss/draw.

All fair enough that, I wouldn't disagree with any of it. Although the thing about footy, as you've said elsewhere, is that you can do all of the research you want and still not get it right. I've got some fantastic statistical tools at my disposal, courtesy of the work I used do. I used to work with some properly clever people, statisticians and mathematicians, but we never came up with any decent system (on horses or football) for making reliable profit. (We gave it some proper thought too!).

So, I think you're right not to bet on this, but I'd accept there's a case for thinking that we might do better than many here (including me) think. I sincerely hope you're right and I'm wrong.

I do think it is a fair point about not knowing who half the rival teams in League One have bought and who they have let go.

I haven't really any idea as to who bought who apart the City and therefore it does cloud my judgement of where I think CCFC will finish.

Think there are a few rash predicitions without looking at the whole picture andstuff like how our new recruits might or might not bed in and be a success here.

I don’t think playing at either Sixfields or the Ricoh has anything to do with it however if you can’t be up for playing at the Ricoh because it is intimidating as opposed to cemetery of Sixfields then players need to question their aspirations.

The big problem I believe we have is strength in depth, we will pick up injuries without question therefore it’s what happens then. Also SP needs to have a plan B which was not evident last season.

Nothing to do with having a massive ego. I have an extensive knowledge of football, now this isn't me just claiming to know everything because I'm a little jumped up tit. Other people appear to agree that when it comes to writing/talking/debating about football I'm half decent at it.

For example

My University (Reading) appointed my Sports Editor of the University paper ahead of many other applicants
The Guardian Newspaper selected me (and 10 others) out of many applicants to attend an insight into Journalism at their head offices
And Bradford have asked me to do some programme notes for the game on Saturday ahead of many other applicants

Perhaps I shouldn't make claims like 'I know more about football than you' which admittedly is immature.
But to have someone pick out a couple of failed predictions and basically say 'na na na na na you got them wrong, you are stupid' is equally immature

I've always said that in the long term this club cannot make Southampton or Norwich esque strides with SISU in control. Saying that I do believe we can get out of this league as things stand, obviously there's every chance SISU will do something (like Joy Seppala running down 20 goal striker Marcus Tudgay with her car) during the course of this season to prevent that from happening. Apologies for swearing etc, pre-season on this forum can get a tad annoying sometimes.
