Any latest please Simon?

Any hints or suggestions a deal could be done for the start of the season?

I would gladly take no new signings at all if it meant us playing back at the Ricoh.

Oh yes couldn't agree more. Being back at the Ricoh would be the biggest and best signing we have ever made.

I think we will know more by Thursday / Friday.

Sorry but is this how far we have stooped? Its either a ground or new signings?

We should as most teams in the English football pyramid expect both? Or is that asking too much from our gracious owners

EDIT - surely both would go hand in hand as well. More revenue, more money?

You clearly don't know how SISU have worked over the past 5/6 years then.

I can't wait til we get back to the glory days of the Ricoh when we had promotion after promotion, made millions profit every year and never sold a single player myself.

(Not that i don't want us back at The Ricoh, but talk about absence making the heart grow fonder)

Sarcasm mate but does show how bad it is and amazes me how fans still think SISU are good for the club.
Don't think anyone is saying Sisu are good for club, but there is a league table of badness and it's all about just how bad you rate them compared to previous owners. The previous owners for me were probably worse than our current incumbents, apart from the removing the club from its home. That is one thing I can never ever forgive them for. Besides that I would say the last bunch were worse. I don't hate Sisu, but I do hate them for the decision of taking the club away from its home.

Same as now really but mostly in a higher division and now you can't watch your team

Simon, could you park it outside Wembley for the Charity Shield? That's if the CT can afford the petrol obviously.

Outside the main entrance to Sixfields perhaps? the SKy game with Cardiff? Don't see much point in focussing purely on Cov.

I do...its to sell papers.

Driving a little van around Coventry reminding people that CCFC no longer play there does seem rather pointless.....everyone already has a far more stark reminder....a big empty stadium of the edge of town.

Take the van to where it will get national coverage.....Charity Shield is a good shout to start with.....followed by other televised matches from the regions.

Careful! Mentioning Sixfields entrance and some sort of a protest could be deemed divisive and argumentative. End of a promising thread.

I know. What was I thinking of. I may just sit on my hands instead of courting controversy! :)

It's not staying in Coventry.

I'd hope we would be given a bit more credit than being accused of just jumping on the situation to sell papers... a tad harsh!

My apologies then Simon....I read it as a local thing....I'll re-read it shortly & then sit on the naughty step.

Simon - I should have read the article more closely also. I am supposed to be working mind you! Would the telegraph consider Sixfields?

Fair play to you and the Telegraph... Your doing plenty to make our feelings known. I'd like to applaud what your doing

Nothing to do with absence making the heart grow fonder Lord.

Everything to do with wanting to see my team on a regular basis again.

And I thought I was cynical, clearly I am not worthy.

I'll look forward to seeing it here in Wigan then :)
