typical CET - first report saying CCFC not received anything - now they report the post has arrived. They obviuosly don't know how slow the post is in this part of Coventry!!!!

So we have owners who dont want us and are leaking money
Investors who want us, and are prepared to invest
Our current owners' position will only weaken week by week, and the bad press will add to this
Investors, can potentially stand by and watch this
Admittedly SISU will want to do the best it can for its investors, but ultimately - I think covering the Non sisu debt (which currently sisu are liable for) eg mortgages, inland revenue etc , should be enough to get the clowns out

If you or any of your team read this. CCFC really need investment and SISU have lost the clubs support. Please please resolve this with any investors hoping to take over the club asap. We really need players before the window closes. I'd rather SISU go, but any investment at present would be welcome.

Dear Mr Hoffman,
The current board of Directors at Coventry City Football Club confirm that we have finally received a formal written offer in regard to a proposed takeover.
It appears however, that your staff and representatives have failed to acknowledge the extremely fine small print at the base of our terms and conditions clause.
It clearly states that any proposed bids should be submitted in Old Testament tablet form, and etched, using the perished quill of a Griffin in the form of Egyptian Hieroglyphics.
We further stress that despite assurances by your Consortium, no attempt at delivery was made by Tinkerbell on a Unicorn, but rather by the far less reliable Royal Mail.
On this basis we have no choice but to dismiss your derisory offer out of hand.

The first offer will be rejected, Sisu will try & squeeze every penny out of him. I think hoff was wrong to say there maybe some negotiating if this refused, I would have just said here's the offer, take it or leave it.

i think this is one small step in a very long walk to the finish aswell but atleast it is a start
After 30 odd years of supporting the mighty Sky Blues and 25+ years in IT support this is trivial so don't worry, I won't be wound up.
