I read that the creditable source has predicted that he is going not actuall stated that he is. I personaly hope that he doesn't of course, but wouldn't blame him if he did.

Pressley could put an end to this speculation with a phone call. Both he and the club are ominously quiet!

No one will answer the phone though.....don't you know...Its the latest fad in Coventry apparently.....just let the fucker ring out....that'll show 'em...

You are the one that called it baseless.
You are obsessed with Grendel.

When I called it baseless, that was a facetious reference to Grendel's claim ('He's favourite in the betting due to press speculation'). You'd find you'd be much better at defending your mate if you read back over the entirety of a thread; rather than jumping in halfway through with your mouth bigger than your balls

I'll have you know I have gigantic balls! How was I jumping in to defend Grendel when I didn't know it was a reference to him? I was simply responding to your rather silly and poorly worded post.

It's called a thread. That means it's a continuum. There's a clue in the title. Which means when you take to 'jumping in' (as you admit) without reading what's gone before it's your offering that's frankly 'silly', and not other people's

They have an office in the canal basin Coventry.

You should read Alan Poole's article about SP, it says they have credible source who told them he was going..
http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/sport-opinion/could-anyone-blame-steven-pressley-7596751

Or you could continue to belittle local journo's

The credible souce appearing to be based on this illuminating line:

It is understood that Huddersfield chairman Dean Hoyle has earmarked Pressley as a prime candidate to take over at the John Smith’s Stadium.

I know it's a long shot, and probably expecting a bit much, but has anybody from the CET actually asked Pressley or the club if there is any truth in it?

Fair enough Local Jack. The point about how they source a lot of stories is fact though.

BTW, before anyone calls me out over it & calls me a hypocrite, I criticised local journo Les Reid plenty.. because I felt his agenda had been unduly influenced in favour of the people I want to see out of this club & I continue to want that happen.

They probably got it from RFC and his contact.

Do you read every post on every thread you post on? Actually, i bet you really do.

If it stops me looking like an oaf like you, yes. Would you just cut in, half way through a discussion or meeting having not heard what's gone before? To do so is to be ill-informed. And if I had made such a mistake, I'd be more humble than you've mustered; otherwise that'd be adding ignorant to the list of allegations too

Has he gone yet?

Hasn't Pressley got a worse record than Robins over the last 25 games or so?

Firstly, no it doesn't - You look like an oaf on a daily basis. Secondly, I'm humble when required and have apologized many times on SBT. The post I responded to was poorly worded and contradictory. That doesn't change because it was apparently an attempt to mock another poster. I certainly don't have time to read the huge swathe of material between yourself and Grendel over many threads and many months, and will (if its ok with you) continue to post as and when I fucking feel like it.

When are the school holidays over again?

Sky Bet’s Chris Spicer said: “Pressley has attracted nearly double amount of stakes than any other manager on our list of potential replacements for Robins, prompting us to slash his odds significantly since opening the market.

However, we’ve seen relatively modest money since he was cut in to odds-on, suggesting it’s far from a foregone conclusion, especially given Coventry are likely to be reluctant to let Pressley go at such an inconvenient time.”

Well at least its a parting shot, you usually just disappear when you've lost an argument.

Lost an argument? You jump in half way through a thread and admit you haven't read it all and look ignorant; and I'm the loser, eh? Truth is, I just can't be doing with you. You're not good enough at this. There are others, like LS or FP, who do the job eminently better than you. Why should I bother with a poor quality, I'll-informed, ignorant and foul-mouthed wannabe facsimile?

Good enough to wind you right up it seems. :)

MMM and Samo, sorry to interject; but do either you think that Huddersfield are likely to put an approach in for Steven Pressley?

Don't think so. It's your swearing and exclamation marks I see above. If, against convention, you can bring yourself to read back through the thread at all to notice your outburst....

What are you talking about? You object to swearing and exclamation marks? What outburst?

Sounds like it Monners.

Sounds like it Monners.

Guess again:

"We want someone who is tried and tested. We want someone who is a leader of men; who can motivate and inspire," Huddersfield Owner Dean Hoyle said.

Doesn't sound like Elvis to me, more Brian McDermott and the like.

Possibly. Short list of two so far

Post on a Huddersfield forum:

Just heard him say to OGS when they shook hands "see you Saturday"

Would Huddersfield still want him after what we saw tonight? Hardly a manager who is showing progression. Limited resources may be to blame but I personally think he hasn't got the character needed for the job. There has been nothing to suggest he deserves a shot at a higher level, he's just a lot of talk and shit performances.

Seems SP won't be joining Huddersfield.

Odds on the drift now. 7-4 with sky bet now after being 1-2 odds on a few days ago.

Maybe a win and the hope of a Ricoh return help?

Papers this morning heavily linking Chris Powell to the job. Seems a good fit to me.

Won't be SP thankfully.
