That does miss the point. They have time, finances and dogged determination. Success may be measured in time - namely keep doing this for five more years - think about it.

They have dogged determination, I'll give you that. But unless you are one of their investors in the club or employees you have no way of knowing with any certainty how much time or finances they have available. That's a guess at best. An assumption at worst.

I am not sure should negotiations begin that either of TF or ML will be spear heading it.. I think you're likely too see Mrs Seppala come out of the shadows.

I'm sure you're right Rob. I was just pointing out that Laurel and Hardy are the only tools they have available.

(edit) for the younger generation replace Laurel and Hardy with the Chuckle Brothers ;)

In 5 more years we will be below Spinx,,, best way is to start again under a new name playing at the Ricoh and we will pass Sisu City on the way up.....

Or if that would be beneath her maybe her colleague Ms Deering, we haven't heard much from Mark recently come to think about it.

I thought ML had been in hospital?

This has to be a final straw, even the strongest Sisu believer can't justify this action, i find it hard to understand never mind find positive in their actions. It's a nightmare and the only way this stop's is if the FL take the GS off the owners due to running a non viable business...

Fans stay out of Sixfields see if the FL push Sisu to provide proof that the club can run without income.... It will hurt for a bit but it maybe short term pain for a long term cure to all our problems..

Who are these SISU believers? Never met one or read one. Please tell me.

Wikipedia definition of Sisu - 'Sisu is a Finnish word generally meaning determination, bravery, and resilience. However, the word is widely considered to lack a proper translation into any other language. Sisu is about taking action against the odds and displaying courage and resoluteness in the face of adversity. Deciding on a course of action and then sticking to that decision against repeated failures is Sisu. It is similar to equanimity, except the forbearance of Sisu has a grimmer quality of stress management than the latter'

My bold text. God help us.

If physical illness then I wish him well.

If injury then of course, all the best to him.

If sectioned then I wish him well also.

I have a feeling it was to do with a knee replacement.. If so I wish him all the best, after all my knee troubles of the last four or so years I wouldn't wish the feeling on anyone.

Obviously you don't remember the initial Appeal that ultimately produced the Appeal.

Could go either way but 3 Senior Experienced Judges. Who knows?

Certainly not me!

So first judge told SISU Don't bother it is waste of time. SISU appeal second judge says well you could have enough to at least have a hearing. ( I know what 99% of people who genuinely are in a court case to win would do)
So court case = decimation
Advice from judge don't waste everyone's time appealing.
There certainly us a pattern forming here.
Joy said in front of solicitors 'we will tie you up in knots with court cases'
She is seeing her threat through unfortunately it doesn't seem to make a jot of difference.
Get in with negotiating SISU.
Wish you would just buy ACL.

About 30,000 of those who watched the Crewe game, for a start.

Lost revenue Northern....people bang on about lack of support, people being divisive, apathy, who are the most loyal the "in" or the "out".

Supply and demand....when clubs are successful they get more fans, so keep them. Fans who see an opportunity to come back into the fold or re kindle a faith.. Why criticise them.

Coventry City have fans all over the world, but not in a position to attend every week. Some fans who live locally can't attend every week.

People who bang on about Crewe and Arsenal really do insult the Coventry fan base. all of you just stop and think about it?

Not denying it.

Just making the point that talking about the majority and minority is a bit daft really... as *we* are the minority.

Therefore according to the logic of some, *we* should stop posting, give up, sod off and never bother again.

It is not a bargaining chip. ACL stated no negotiations until the appeal is dropped, and I for one hope they stick to their guns .Sisu only know
how to bully people, well tough it's there turn to be bullied now. Tell sisu to hop it.
They're using it as a bargaining chip themselves ffs

I don't see it. As a bargaining chip for what? Lower rent, better catering cut? That's all that's open to them now and they don't want it. They've ploughed millions into this venture, and a share of the £150K profit from food and drink as per the last accounts aren't it.

They need freehold, or at least long leasehold with all revenues to feather the nest of their exit strategy. Neither are on the table, so the court cases, with their dwindling likelihood of success is their only chance. Even if it's a 1% chance, they're duty bound by desperation to persue it.

That's what we're now seeing. Despite what's publicly stated, they have no interest in cutting a deal with ACL. So there's no point in gaining leverage for a discussion they don't want

TF will be on next week saying ACL turned down talks and ACL are to blame for the club carrying on playing at sixfields... When we all know what party are holding things up, if i was ACL i would say nothing, react to nothing they don't have to.. They made it very clear 2 things they required Sisu to do,, so far 1 out of 2 TF,, must try harder...

You twattle on about respect in the other thread and then post that, straight off. Is it national irony week?

Read the post, you thick ork. It's all in there if you read and try and ponder, as opposed to trying to play the game you're eminently I'll-equipped to play. Again.

Seriously, I'm not being funny. You're too thick for this. You don't do humour. You're unintelligent. Your forced confrontation doesn't boast grace nor subtlety to even slightly motivate me to engage with you; and your modus operandi has grown more desperate as the boredom of the school holidays have taken their toll. In essence, dear chap, you're a buffoon of biblical proportions

ACL introduced it as being key to even getting the negotiating table I meant by b that comment.

While I hate to agree with you I think you're right about the war of attrition.
