This can't be true.

I think it might be. A chap who works for me said today they were signing him and what's he like. I thought he was taking the piss but he showed me the link. I couldn't stop laughing.

Due to their financial situation they were told no signings were going to happen. This actually has been received positively.

"With Blues' manager Lee Clark looking for added firepower he could be the answer to any striking problems at St Andrew's."

Christ on a stick, how bad are their striking problems if ROD is going to make things better??

Apparantly they are trying to sign Fabian Dubec to solve their goalkeeping problems and are trying to lure Ray woods out of retirement as they need a tricky right winger.

One of the worst players i have ever seen play for city.

I was there at Bury that night he scored his one and only goal... came off the top of his shoulder i think.

Stealing a living as a footballer.

Poor Blues

I won't believe it till it happens. He was undoubtedly the worst player I've ever seen at this club in 15 years watching 'em most weeks. Hinckley (rip) away in the pre season friendly a few years back was hilarious, he rounded the 'keeper but his attempted tap in into an empty net was that weak it stopped before crossing the goal line.

His miss at Boro saw AT throw him out of the team as unselectable. Shaun Jeffers was a certain start by comparison.

I think it was either TF or SW who told the story of them inviting back all the still-contracted players after relegation and asking each of them why they should still be in the squad, given relegation .. Roy's response was "I'm the best striker in the Championship and could easily play in the Premier League!"

Laughable I know, and Fisher/Waggott recounted this...but they still bloody kept him on for another 6 months!!!

TBF, that is the sort of answer a question like that deserves.

Yeah but hang on, he has scored 21 goals in the Singapore A league since February 14 so he must be good.
