Great News but hope that doesn't affect the gate. Hoping to see a full house for our first game back home.

I told this to my brother 2 hours ago saying Sky won't miss out on this. Is it a good thing though? I'm still going whether on TV or not.

I'd go if it was on a Monday morning at half past six ! Sod watching it on sky we need to fill it out and let those watching it on the telly see that we are fucking well back home ! Brilliant news.

So SKY have to wade in and grab a little limelight. Pity but still should be a party and will be fairly full if the tickets are £10 adults, £5 Kids !

I don't personally like this news but it's only 1 game. We are back now so we will get plenty of Saturdays back home.

Think about it.... Show the football world Coventry city are still here and massive game with a massive atmosphere user the lights and sell it out. Show the world.

P.s spare a thought for gills fans. Friday traffic around London. Bless them to be fair.

The power Sky has over the FL and the clubs is far too much.
the majority of fans I would have thought would have much preferred to have this on a Saturday afternoon, and have a Saturday like we all remember.

we have'nt had a football Saturday at home for over a year and then they do this and the next chance is now at the end of September

Aren't we at home to Yeovil the following weekend (13th)?

Just tried to book the Saturday off work and was turned down as there is a leave ban. Think I can get the Friday off though so if the old man can make it we will be coming down from Manchester.

Well not for the first time I have been caught talking a load of bull crap, I have just checked and we are at home on the Saturday the 13th.

Sorry I am used to checking when Diss Town are playing at home, this new job of checking Cov fixtures will take some getting use to

I think the evil Sky empire have actually been OK with us as far as giving coverage to the protests is concerned, so I'm not overly surprised that they would want to show this match.....extra cash in the coffers, and if tickets are priced sensibly, it should still be a good crowd (although I expect Gillingham won't be bringing many)
