Can't let them use it as an identity like NOPM became. My advice is like an embarrassed teenager, give them time, let them come to their own realisation, and don't rub it in when/if they do change their mind.

Agreed, time heals.

Coventry City are planning to offer a cut-price deal for the Back To The Ricoh match against League One rivals Gillingham on Friday September 5.

Manager Steven Pressley is hoping for a bumper crowd as the Sky Blues end their 13-month exile from their home ground with a game that is being shown live on Sky TV

Considerin all the factors im goin 4 a magical nite 25+ PUSB

Highest home attendance 31,407 v Chelsea and we wont get near that so I would say 24,500 which is still outstanding in this league

I think we can sell out. The lack of Gillingham fans might bring the crowd down but if it's cheap tickets we should get a lot in.

That was my thought, they brought 6000 to the cup game...Gillingham to Coventry on a Friday night when its on Sky and is of no significnce to them as it is to us 600 maybe

Would love this to sell out but probably unlikely. The Crewe JPT game was only a fiver with the promise of a Wembley ticket and no live TV coverage but still took some time to sell over 30,000. If this one's a similar price we might have a chance but the Sky coverage will probably scupper that. 20,000 plus will be impressive though.

People who state 10K really don't understand our fan base.

City fans have always turned up for games that mattered.

I'm hoping they do something like a £10 special to get the fans back and as a sorry... look how successful the entire JTP was in 2012/2013 with their £5 tickets

I predict 16,000 and chaos getting in the ground haha

Anybody think this won't sell out now? I can't see how it can't. Surely we'd have sold pushing 15,000 today alone if the server had been up to the task.

I wasn't expecting the 3am campers and queues snaking round the retail park, and that's just on a weekday too.

Sorry mate but those seats went on sale today.
We had to move as our seats had already been sold, also the Season ticket price stays he same even thou there is a game less on it so the longer you leave it the less reasonable it becomes.

Apparently looking at doing shorter term season tickets of 10 games.

It can't sell out for the simple reason all 2012/13 season ticket seats are held until the end of September. I can't make the first game so won't buy my season ticket until after then. I assume my seat will be empty for that game.

I saw the club say on Twitter yesterday that prices go down after every match

I can remember going to games when the Kop was full. That must have been well over 30,000.

Stop giving those too lazy to attend a further get out..NOPM always was a dodgy sentiment. It's now just a pisspoor excuse.
