what were your terms and stakes lol?

He said he wouldn't score over ten for a Grendel week ban.

So I bet he would score over 10 and followed it with:

Nicks choice of charity.

All very amicable. But not a bad start at all.

Even if McQuoid didn't end up do anything all season it was mental that whoever it was posting had him completely written off based on the first game of the season.

It was before the first game. That's why I took the bet. Sick of people slating players before they've kicked a ball.
Plus either way some tokens go to charity and hopefully I get to be a smug prick as well.

I know people don't take this cup seriously, but we have a genuine chance of winning it. More than the FA or League cup. So I don't understand why people wouldn't be pleased or want Cov to win it?

They say that type of thing because they do not believe we have a realistic chance of winning it. Remember the Crewe turnout though? THEN they believed & attached value to it.

Fair play to the team - 9 academy players taking us home. Such a shame Fisher gave his twopenneth this morning - KNOB!

A win is a win is a win as they say ! Clean sheet, next round, unbeaten since return to Cov announced ! Onwards and Upwards !

Small footnote: Gillingham won again.
