Wouldn't it suit SISU if the ground was shown as half empty so they could say that it wasn't the move to shitfields that lost the fans

It won't be half empty though will it? You may have a point if they limited it to like 12k or something.

I was waiting for you to answer why they would lie about ticket numbers?
why wouldnt they , fans have REPEATEDLY asked them on twitter , facebook , how many have been made available , how many blocks left to sell , what time etc , they have repeatedly been sketchy about the numbers from day 1 , why , well its because there are hundreds to thousands of fans that are not going to get to watch the match and they announce today that the attendance could reach 28,000 with 350 from gillingham , so why the 4500 empty seats, answer to the question , to prevent backlash

Ah great answer, why wouldn't they...

Hundreds of thousands of fans, how did that petition go again?

What backlash is it preventing? I am pretty sure a couple of blocks would make no difference if people wanted to kick off. People are spouting absolute crap.

The club have a crap IT system which has caused them mega issues and led to putting more strain on the club shop mixed with having to wait for the safety people to give the nod for things. It isn't that hard to see it.

I said hundreds to thousands , why didnt they just announce all that was on sale , and sell it , and yes there will be alot of angry people, fans have been a bit led on an misinformed throughout the proccess

Because they were waiting for the safety people to give them the nod before releasing more? They have a crap website which kept crashing because it is probably on a server in a cupboard under the stairs, this means people didn't get emails, this meant people called the ticket office to check, this meant people at the ticket office were helping thousands of people over the phone about web orders rather than answering to sell them over the phone or over the counter. If they had a decent website / server then it would have handled the load and people wouldn't have felt the need to jump in their car and go and stand outside.

What difference is there going to be if 28k people want to kick off on Sky of 30k? If they had said they were only going to sell 10,000 then this stupid theory may have some legs.

I don't think there's much in the way of conspiracy, lies and deception with today's game. Ineptitude? Sure.

Wow... The club sold 28k tickets in 2 weeks while dealing with the logistical nightmare of policing and safety and you are still all bitching. I think they have done well personally!

Tell that to fans who logged in at 6am this morning to no luck....

I do agree that it must have been a logistical nightmare

Strange that no one can answer why 3000 seats are needed for Gills and segregation.

Health and safety haven't the authority to tell the club what they can sell so that is a smokescreen.

So why do you think it is? Just to spite fans? To stop a protest? To save face on sky?

You watch prem league games, segregation is split by stewards and that's it. Crewe JPT game, very small segregation.

Who knows why Gills game has such big segregation. Maybe they have a nawty mob?

FFS the segregation at the Ricoh has been shit since we moved there.

Yep, even games with 15 grannies and 5 fat blokes for the away fans they have been about 4 miles away from our fans with stewards and netting etc.

No, they're not available until 9.30 today at the earliest, according to what we'd been told earlier this week?

It's not necessarily the segregation in the stands you have the concourse to think about and facilities.

You tell me.

I'm just stating the legal position.
