Another very frustrating day I can't believe we have no points from the last 2games but that's what's happened.
plus points firstly Hines thought he was okay also finch looked better than either fleck and Thomas who were both very poor.

Positives - tried 100% and JF much better cm than cb as against cardiff last month.
Noble is a quality player and so glad we have him.

Negatives - wouldn't of scored if out all day/night. Still no away win. Connor thomas probably had the worst 45 mins ever in a Cov shirt by any player ever. danny Swanson tried to beat thomas with his second half performance and almost won. Maybe even joint 1st. Both I would never put a city shirt on again. 2 disgusting performances.

Agree about Thomas,Swanson worries me as Pressley rates him but as yet he has not produced anything he seems to just run down blind alleys all the time

Best thing about today? Certainly not the game :(

Just got home. My little lad gave the game away on who I am. Spoke to several people that have seen me post on here but either don't post or have stopped posting. Heard some interesting things as well as about the football. A special mention for Torch. You got a few mentions. Very passionate and points well put across although not always agreed with. Keep it up mate. One person got mentioned more but won't mention who or why. It would be unfair. Even met up with someone I have been to some games with on way to the game that didn't know I posted on here :D And SW you are very welcome to introduce yourself next time. And it was good to see Dave Mapp back.

At the end of the day we all want the same. And we are still the same great bunch we were in happier days.

Time for a couple of tinnies then bed. Up in 5 hours for work.

When Thomas and Swanson are playing, you wonder what on earth was Pressley thinking by releasing Baker.

That's a very conspiracy theorist view  ;)

not really. Surely no-one thinks that Coubilly is more effective than Baker ?.

Coubilly is paid in the main to sit on our bench by Bournemouth, Baker was paid £8k a week by us.

For two seasons he got 15 assists and double figures in goals. Something not one of our midfielders and most of our strikers will not do this year.

Has baker been snapped up yet? I'd have thought clubs would have been queuing up to sign him

Might that not have something to do with the kind of wages he is looking for though as opposed to how good he is perhaps?

The problem with the game yesterday, Thomas and fleck both started the game half a yard off the pace (Thomas always starts like that) everything they did was not positive and mainly ended with a counter attack against us! If fleck was only 80% fit he shouldn't have started and also think making 2 changes at half time didn't help! Finch came in played the holding role perfectly and looks the better player out of him and Thomas and should be given a chance! Swanson came on and gave the worst performance you could imagen, mainly down to his decision making......

We didn't play badly at all yesterday, Hines fitted in very well at the back with the defence looking very solid although the one mistake cost us the point (Rochdale didn't manage a shot on target from open play, but did hit the post...) the one player we seem to miss and no one has mentioned is Mcquiod, it's interesting but his work rate opens up sections in the final third, something we couldn't do!!!!

Also Johnson not being there doesn't help, his leadership is missed more than his physical presence....

still think SP doesn't know his best 11 either....

Surprised to hear about Swanson? Though he looked quite lively; certainly more mobile than Thomas and Fleck! Yes his decision making was poor but it was no worse than what we had. Agree with Finch though: would start him against Preston.

Portsmouth the last thing I read were looking favorites

Mate who lives in MK is certain they are signing him. Apparently he's been at the last 3 games and has taken his family along. Doesn't he have history with Robinson and he could play there without having to move his kids out of school.

In defense of Thomas and Swanson , probably Fleck aswell yesterday , we seem to be doing a lot of flick passes and fannying about a lot in midfield . The two wing backs are not giving the out ball they should ,mainly because they are bolstering up the centre backs .it worked earlier on and gave us clean sheets that Presley was keen on . This pattern of play puts immense pressure on the midfield and it makes us give ball away too many times , as it did yesterday. Did Pugh and Clarke get down the wings , they've struggled to in the games I've seen?

Totally agree but as well as change to system the wages might just have come into it!

i'm sorry, but maybe its time for SP to swallow a bit of pride and give Barton another chance... now bear with me on this. In my opinion Adam Barton has more talent in his little finger than Connor Thomas! i just cannot see what he offers... Does he tackle- No. Does he close down? - Rarely? Does he score-No. Assists? -No. Barton cant tackle. but hes a better passer, can get assists and can score some crackers... so in the absence of anything better i just cant see how he cant even make the bench. This is probably the weakest midfield i have ever seen in a city side, whilst we are paying Bartons wages, lets use him!

Yesterday was poor, the front two had no service, Nouble did well untill he was switched to the wing and agree Seb Hines looked decent.

We missed Reda in both boxes. Pugh doesn't offer half as much as Haynes, and if Allsopp is better than Burge, then we have a serious problem because he is poor at best.

He's one of the worst keepers i have ever seen at communicating and commanding his area.

The wing backs are effectively playing as full backs. Their starting positions are wrong.

Only Haynes fits the role, Pugh and Clarke just sit back in the full back positions. Pugh doesn't have the legs to get up and down the pitch, Clarke tries to but can't beat a player or have a consistently good delivery.
