Been waiting over two weeks for the away shirt to restock and they have not arrived. Anyone else heard when they will arrive?

As a Commercial Operation it's fucked....lack of stock, standards and customer service.

I enquired about Medium/Large sizes last week for the new Training Range (only Small, XL, XXL etc left in everything) and they told me they'd sold out because they were 'the most popular sizes'.....

I was then told they wouldn't be getting any more in.... It's September FFS not February....no replenishment??

Losing loads of cash... has to be down to terms with Puma....but how embarrassing.

They are years behind where they should be....let's hope they leave it where it is...

Maybe they enjoyed NOPM they want to keep it going, it saves money on having to hire staff to re-stock and sell it etc.

Thank the lord we are owned by people that know how to run a business. I mean who would ever dream of getting money in buy providing what your customer base wants when you can batter people in court?

apparently its easy to make your own away shirt... Get some white tissue paper and wrap it around you. Then place a cov badge on your chest

A lot of that sounds unerringly familiar from my time as a retail manager for a company that was owned by a Private Equity firm. We were constantly running out of stock on lead lines. The promotions were terrible. The HO Buying Team was gutted to a skeleton crew and the supplier we owned sold off for hard cash. We eventually went under just before Christmas, the shelves almost bare-aside from the crap stock that all shops have that nobody actually wants to buy.

Give em a break - without the footfall generated by having the shop at the Ricoh (which was always really busy on matchdays) not sure why they would be investing in stock to just sit there on shelves with very few customers. All the good stuff was nicked as well. Lead times to replace will all be on Far east timescales so anywhere from 12-20 weeks.
There is an awful lot of old tat hanging around that needs some clearance activity to shift it though.

There are very few customers because there is no stock, and didn't the club also say they were staying at Gallagher because footfall is better overall?

I was in the club shop recently, some guy was trying to get a name put of the back of a shirt he had bought for his son as a present. They had run out of a letter (can't remember which letter it was), but when asked when they'd be getting more of this letter in, the guy behind the counter shrugged and said "could be months". People in the queue were laughing.

All of this debacle - No stock/staff in shop, not enough letters, poor ticket distribution etc, pales into insignificance if you recall that club 'shop' we had hidden away in the lower precinct on the thoroughfare to the market.
any visitor to the city must have thought the club were preparing for life in the Cov & central Warwicks league.

Plenty of tickets available for Saturdays game though and no queues....

I think thats harsh, them poor staff must be so mentally tired as the last twelve months all they have had to do is sit on their asses, and the owners are the opposite they have been chokka with legal arguments in the high courts, you don't expect them to meet demand and simply order extra stock with a phone call/email/carrier pigeon to suppliers do you ?

I suspect the club might have problems getting trade credit after the financial issues.

You are probably right..never really understood this credit licence stuff though - surely they just set up another trading arm to manage the shop/online/ticket sales and get credit through this. Its what businesses do all the time isnt it. Unless things are *really bad* of course and there is stuff we still dont know about.

Travelling back over to Cov this afternoon and I will be calling in to purchase a ticket package. I'll enquire as to which letter is in short supply and see if the Sky blues trust can come to the rescue. They're the only one's who can help, surely?

If they haven't got stock they should be giving people a firm date they will be in stock and taking orders. If someone walks in and gets told we'll have some in October you can order now to ensure you get one they might get some cash in the bank. A better option that letting people walk out having not spent their money and not knowing when stock is due.

Yeah, the TRUST -Only if like the club they have managed to file their accounts yet. On that point, I dont think they have asked for any money off people for 2 years now? Was the £1 we paid originally a Lifetime Membership? - if so its not going to build much of a fighting fund - not with aboout 11 people on the Trust board to support.
When, if ever are subscriptions going to be taken again?

Has the club shop re opened at the Ricoh? If not where is it,as I don't live in the area I won't know any directions to it,is it far from the ground?

I don't believe there are any plans to open the shop at the ground. It's now at Gallagher retail park, just carry on past the ground on the A444 for 3 roundabouts (or islands if you prefer), then take a right.

Would have thought costs are quite low considering that no one gets paid unlike the club and people like Ken.

they're out of stock of the letter "L". Which is unfortunate as both my little girls' names contain an L, as does our surname.....

Still the model of efficiency down there at the Ticket office/Club shop I see/hear. I've been ringing this morning to buy tickets for Saturday's game and no one picks up. I'm trying to chuck them £45 !! Only a SISU owned business could be this disinterested in the fans ?
