How competitive do people think the rent would be set if a Sisu owned company bought Acl ?
Would they let CCFC play there for free ?
Would CCFC see all the money from stadium naming rights, parking, advertising, F&B ?

I am sorry I haven't read all the thread, I haven't got enough time for that! However I find this situation very distasteful, why does the Council proceed to allow a 'bid' (I use that term loosely seems as Wasps haven't even managed to drum up the support needed for it!) to be considered and not even offer the Stadium's anchor tenant Coventry City the chance to match the offer? Without the Club the Ricoh would have never existed!

Some Councillors have stated there desire for negotiations to be made public, would an FOI suffice in those conversations being made public?

Who says that Sisu would own it, is it not to say that Sisu may invest the money for the Club to purchase the Ground and then hold it under the same holding company as the Club? (Otium Entertainment)

Ohh. Many such as yourself have previously stated that he "bullshits" in most aspects when he speaks to the fans but now your saying what he says is believable?

Either way without a Ground to purchase as our own we will never know.

You are gullible to the extreme !!
Do you really think Sisu would miss a trick and not set it up the purchase in a different company so that they can charge CCFC whatever they like ?

They be paying out of their own (or the same investors) money, so it's of little concern.

Yes obviously fine if your not bothered about CCFC being competitive on the pitch !

You don't seem bothered about them being on the pitch at all.

Why is Robbo gullible John?
Is it because he rightly said we will never know the true answers to your questions about what would happen if SISU owned the stadium. All he siad was that it probably will never happen, which is honesty not gullability. Just because you think everything you say is right doesn't mean it is so.

Lol !!
At least CCFC can say no to the wasps rent proposals !!
How do CCFC say no to a Sisu owned entity ?
Its called price fixing !

So if we say no to Wasps proposals as you advocate I presume you would be in full support of leaving the City again?
That would make you in a minority of one in support of a move back to Sixfields.

It will be the same money in different companies, if they want to invest in the team they will, if they don't they won't. Whether they are charging themselves £100m rent or £3.50 rent, it won't affect the team.

What a load of shit don't you know any basic maths ?

A little bit.

What I am trying to explain is that it's nothing to do with maths, it's all to do with the will of the owners, and their investors.

Squad budget will be set based on turnover and overheads. So based on your comment it doesn't matter if the rent is £3.50 or a 100million your wrong !

And what will have the owners shown to date other than to try and destroy CCFC for their own gains ?

There appears to be more than one on here who now seem to think it's ok to take a club away from it's home.

I wonder what the plant, Martcov thinks about it?

So rent does it matter, you say further up about breaking the lease. I assume you thought 1.3m rent was ok? Or are you saying that amount was fine but only if it was to acl, if sisu charged us that they would be milking us?

Squad budget will be set by turnover. - the rent payment is irrelevant.

Stop talking nonsense.

He has already thinks it is fine as it is wasps showing ambition...

You supported Sisu's tactics to break the lease not me !!

We certainly won't be able to play at the Ricoh as we won't be the main tenant.

Didn't CET also report that Acl were courting Wasps before the rent strike?

Hahahaha! I had a feeling months ago that he was a plant, convinced more now than ever. If not, then we have some of the strangest fans in the country.

You assume wrong 1.3 million is not acceptable. But obviously you choose to ignore that there were lower offers on the table before the lease was broken !
Did you support the breaking of the lease ?
I will assume you did seen as though you supported the move to sixfields by attending !

Maximum squad budget will be set by turnover.
Balancing the books will include any rent payments and should affect squad budget.
Otherwise more debt into the club.

How do you know it is a viable commercial offer?

I know none of the detail, pretty much like yourself. However 'Commercially viable' is a concept that expands to cover ' Wasps feel they can make a profit from it, CCC & AHT feel that it covers their investment and the Board of ACL feel that it is Viable.

Do people still believe that ACL want the best for the club and its fans?

Don't know what anyone believes any more. :(

And why haven't Sisu come out and made a statement at their 'sadness' that ACL are trying to do a deal with an outside party, after being denied the opportunity themselves?

Why haven't they done that? They have consistently said that they have been told the Ricoh is not for sale, so you would have thought we would have immediately had a statement from them. In the past they have been all to ready to criticise ACL and the council at every given opportunity.

Not a peep from our owners.

On the other hand, why haven't ACL come out and said that they are prepared to listen to offers from Sisu?

No, I never did. I have also never believed that Sisu, our owners, have ever wanted what was best for the club and fans - merely their investors.

This is not a dig, just n honest answer (to what was clearly a dig at other fans)

I think you're spot on. Unfortunately the club don't seem to have friends either with the owners or the owners of the stadium. "£" in their eyes is all that matters. One for their investors, one under the guise of "doing it for the people of Coventry".
