Our past (and present) has been blighted by bad management and poor decision making. Some would say the overspending of the late 80's and 90's was a lot more crippling (for the long term) than playing (for the short term) in Northampton.

Both were abhorrent, yet all I ever hear about is how shit it is now. I guess some are happy to look back and say 'yeah, we were fūcked over, but at least we got to see Man Utd twice a year'.

This isn't all about today. It's how we got to today.

The only way forward is to support the team and manager.... until someone (other than SISU) comes forward and puts their money where their mouth is.

I don't disagree with any of that.

My point is this, the loyalty argument cannot now be used I'm afraid. Loyalty works both ways, and the club broke it.

It may be beyond a joke but the lack of support thos club has and willingness of fans to turn up puts us in our deserved spot in this league.

No, Orange Ken's savage cuts put us in this league. We were relegated from the championship with relatively respectable crowds.

The fans have nothing to do with us being in this league.

2 years ago Thorn messed up a 2-0 lead at home to Bury having drawn his other 2 games, he got sacked shortly afterwards. Fast forward to now and the overall situation at the club hasn't changed one iota-is there any reason to think that if we sacked the manager we won't be saying the exact same in another 2 years?

Pull your fingers out SISU and drop your legal action and bid for the stakes in ACL which are clearly up for sale.

To think people on here said getting rid of wilson was a win win situation. That is now the mentality we have under sisu! Makes me sick. Fuming at half time by full time I was depressed again.

Pressley needs to sort this mess out. Losing faith every week and I'm starting to think he's just another thorn.

Will people stop using £24???? You can buy a family stand ticket for £18 and sit in any of the 20k seats, or you could by a ST at £14 per match. And you could still buy he same £24 ticket £2 cheaper the day before. Why the f does everyone use the walk up price (I don't agree with the walk price) to justify not going.

I would say it was a slightly different feeling to the Bury game. I'm v pissed off about a it, but we did get done by 2 individual errors today, where as the Bury game we were like 2 different teams, we completely dominated the first half and bury completely dominated the second.

Why not just buy a kids ticket and hope no one checks. A lot of people will choose to pay on the day as that's what they've always done, before you even consider the issues people have had buying tickets in advance. So, if they are honest, its £24 - £27.

If you go every week a ST is great value but thanks to SISU we didn't have the summer to promote and sell STs so the numbers are low.

In most lines of business if you've got over 20K empty seats you'd be looking for possible reasons people weren't going and putting the right, the club seem to have a head in the sand stance to all issues on and off the pitch.

Agree with this. On Tuesday we'll have 11-12K for one of the most unattractive and pointless football fixtures imaginable. Of course, there is no way prices could go anywhere near that low on a regular basis, but it will show that some people are prepared to trudge up there on a Tuesday night to watch us play in a joke competition, simply because they are incentivised by a price offer.

Club need to get creative to get a few more in, even if just a couple of thousand extra. Why is there no tickets for schools programme? Why can't the club offer ST installment payments? They need to do something because nobody wants this to continue.
