Tim Fisher's logic? (2 Viewers)

Don't follow Tim Fisher's logic on the following: within the last couple of weeks or so he definitely said on air that he could see us pushing towards the top of the Championship in 5 years time. Yet on the radio this morning he stated (and I think I've heard him say it before) that our current model falls apart if we get into the Championship (is that because we have agreed to pay more if we get promoted?) Given that he sees us at the Ricoh for the next 4 years (while you know what does/doesn't get built) does that mean we are / are not trying to get promoted in the meantime? If it's about the rent deal that they've agreed - that he says won't work if we're promoted, I'm worried about what that might mean in terms of intent, If it's something else, please explain!!

There seems to be very little logic where Tim Fisher is concerned.

Yep, that was odd about the Championship. Does make you wonder whether they didn't want us to go up.

Might explain us signing Danny Swanson.

Hopefully new revenues with Wasps will see the model work.

a friend loosely connected to club told me has been saying this for some time, makes you wonder why we bother really.
they could do something really silly and buy higgs share but then they would have all year round revenue, hang on thats what they want

Just assume he's making it up as he goes along and can't remember what rubbish he's come out with before. It all makes sense that way!

The man is complete and utter tw@t. It concerns me that some people still listen to what he has to say.

When did he say we would be pushing top of the championship in 5 years?

Hi Stupot - somebody on here will have heard it - definitely since Ricoh return, and it will have almost certainly been on CWR that I heard him say it - in response to a 'how do you see things panning out' type of questions from one of the usual CWR crew. Sorry if I sound vague, but I'm 100% sure I heard him use words to that effect (may have been pushing to the top half if the Championship - not backpedalling, but it still raises the same question either way - his vision sitting alongside saying we can't afford it?!?)

Lord forbid we ever got back in the premiership, we'd go bust in days!

Better get a 12000 seat ground built really quick Tim, you never know might need it the season after next.

'I don't bluff, like when I took us to Northampton...' No Tim you don't bluff, you just make one cock up after another. Do the deal with the higgs, get the revenue, not just from the arena as it was last week, but from all the egg chaser fans, and there will probably be more of them than us listening to them. At least they are making the right sound bites, which will get more bums on seats than your drivel ever will.

What puzzles me with his logic is that he above all others has peddled the new stadium idea and yet here he is scurrying around allegedly trying to put together a deal to buy 50% of the Ricoh. If they are building the stadium isn't the money the 50% will cost better invested in the build. They could end up with £2.7m tied up in something that is not any use to them and is locked in. It seems his story changes daily where is the logic in that? Don't get me wrong I want CCFC at the Ricoh but surely that will require long term commitment to make it work not splitting energies?

It seems to me it is only a clear thought process so long as SISU get their way in what is going on........ that hasn't really happened too often. It leaves me with little confidence that the club is in safe hands and is set up to push forward.

Very good at telling you what he thinks you want to hear ........

I heard something about he wants to do a 5 year deal to stay at the Ricoh now, maybe something held up his new ground. Something like he has just realised that he will need things a few things 1st, land, planning permission, contractors, surveyors, lawyers, oh and some money might be a good idea.
Of the list above I'm sure he has the lawyers, the rest of it I'm not sure of.

He doesn't bluff! Same way he didn't bluff when he said we were not going to come back to the Ricoh.

To understand Tim Fisher logic you just need to understand arsehole talk.
Whatever he says always comes out of it.
Utter embarrassment to all.
