Worse deadline day since being born into a skyblue (1 Viewer)

I usually love deadline days, before the internet took over everyone was refreshing CEEFAX every minute to see the comings and goings of clubs, but today I don't even want to look until tonight. and I got a funny feeling it's going to be a depressing read too.

All these names touted as potential targets, just seems like they are trying their hardest to appease us fans still, and for most I bet it's working, for me all I can see is doom and gloom, someone make my day please and confirm on here later that we've actually signed someone, to unbearable to keep tabs online all day.

I am expecting some doom and gloom today for sure.

Bottom line is that Turner, Clingan and Jukebox are three of our very best players. Lose all them that can only be bad news for the club.

Haha, seeing those pictures of the doors seems right at the moment.

And i can't wait till the transfer window has closed, and we can see where we are, and plan from there. (Just hope that we still have Clingan & Juke).

Linked with 4 coming in. Linked with 3 going out.

It certainley beats work. :D

Tbh I'd happily lose a defender we haven't seen for a year and a future prospect for someone who can provide us with goals now. So no, I'll be far less gloomy about the whole situation is these turn about to be true.
Desperately want to keep Clingan though.

Cardiff City look set to stick with the attacking options currently available to manager Malky Mackay after Jon Parkin's proposed move to Coventry City appears to have fallen through.

Parkin was brought in by Dave Jones on high wages, and though Coventry showed interest, they were unwilling to match his current wage, insisting on a significant drop. Parkin had already spoken of his desire to stay in South Wales, and try to earn a chance in the Bluebirds 1st XI.

With Parkin now likely to stay, Mackay will stick with his current options: Miller, Earnshaw, Gestede, Mason and Parkin. A replacement had been lined up, but this deal is now on hold. A loan deal for Parkin also looks unlikely, unless City continue to pay a hefty chunk of his wage.

The deal to bring Coventry City defender Ben Turner to South Wales is still imminent, though the player and his agent are wating to hear on Birmingham City's interest - the Blues need a replacement for Blackburn Rovers-bound Scott Dann.

Not bothered if Juke stays, if not then this is a blow.

We will only SELL, not BUY........it is simply to raise cash to service the board's wages...er, sorry... the operating losses.

There was a clear hint of intent, with the comment about player loans in September, ie they hope to spend nothing up front, and just have operating costs (wages), which fits in with the 'business plan' that these clowns have.

They won't invest a penny. What happens when there is no one left to sell.....and we are in the third tier of football, with sub-ten thousand gates???????
