If CCFC were a restaurant (2 Viewers)

Basically, we all have been going there since we were kids. Lets face it, the food has never been great, but we've had a few good meals there, every now and again they surprise us, and at least they looked like they were trying to make decent food and we were supporting a local business. Then some new owners moved into the building. At first they seemed like they were interested in making decent food. Then they lost their nerve and decided getting the building on the cheap was they way to go. So they stopped investing the money they needed to on the ingredients, to the point where every ingredient that tasted good was sold to proper restaurants interested in food. So they took the ingredients that nobody else wanted. Now, the only thing left on the menu is shit sandwiches. They even moved the shit sandwich shop out of town for a while just in case there was any doubt that they didn't care about people supporting local business. Now they are claiming the future is ingredients, but the only time we will see them is on their way to the trolley before they are sold to a proper restaurant. We might be treated to the odd taster, but it will be bitter because we know that it is the proper restaurants that will get to eat the meal. Meanwhile, a restaurant that prides itself in producing good food has bought half of the building and is trying to buy the other half. It is a different style of food and probably not for everybody. But the current owners might be surprised to see just how many people prefer going to a proper restaurant that serves decent food, to a restaurant that takes the piss out of customer loyalty with shit sandwiches.

We would be McDonald's.

Cheap and nasty and very bland and you always get served up the same thing every week.

From the outside it all looks bright and cheery, but on the inside it's all a bit faceless and predictable.

But we got Gordon Pressley in to turn it around. He tasted the shit on offer and gave us a more simplified menu. Moved the furniture around a bit and now thinks we are Egon Ronay standard if we only we had the self-belief. (actaully more like Egon chips.....)

The phenotype link between fast food and colorectal cancers is well established.

If CCFC were a restaurant? I'd have sent the meal back in disgust!
