He's poor. Seen enough. What I expect of a keeper is for him to command an tell his defence what to do, call for it an claim. He's like a shy school boy at times watching as play goes by. Crosses come in what keepers in league an non league football come out to collect to help their defence. But he's happy to watch. Time for burge to be given his chance, an I seen him in the jtp game where he was a bit rash in his deductions but I'd play him an tolerate his mistakes as he's our academy product. Ideally a experienced keeper would be nice... But burge for #1

There must be a clause in his loan deal that he has to play league games unless injured. Surely that's the only viable reason he's playing? OK, Burge may not fill me with much confidence either but atleast he's ours and atleast equal to what Allsopp is

When Cloughie took over at Forest his first signing was Shilton as he said you must build a team from the back starting with a keeper.So until we bring in a decent goalie we're going to struggle.

Can only assume they won a lot of games 4-3 and 3-2!

He should never have been beaten for their first goal, so far out and not even struck particularly well. He is one of these keepers who you never really back to make a save. If there's a one v one situation, you may as well get up to go to the bar and not even wait for the net bulge...

I think you're being a bit unfair. It was very well struck and right in the corner, hit early and through a crowd of players.

Looks like our defence has as much faith in our keeper as I have. Totally undecided whether to come out or not, so finds himself to often in nomans land. There must be better keepers out there looking for work

It's pointless to compare by who let more goals in. Murphy made so many saves. The defence was actually worse last season.

Ryan Allsopp is a top bloke, however do I think he is a decent keeper at this level? No. Not decisive enough, does not control his box and always looks to be in a state of two minds

Allsop made 12 championship appearances and 3 cup appearances in 13-14, so presumably Bournemouth had some bad luck with their keepers?

Not a big fan of Alsop but just saw the goals from yesterday and Clarke is comfortably as culpable as him for the 2nd goal. Clarkes concentration will never be good enough to be a professional footballer. He would be released instantly if I was in charge.

Burge looked a bit small and lacked confidence against Exeter, but nothing worse than Alsop who seams weak on crosses and has poor distribution in league games.
