I thought the citizens of Coventry would be outraged at a hedge fund fucking over a children's charity.

Apparantly not.
Only if they're Sisu. The hypocrisy on this site knows no bounds, that's for sure.

You also thought that SISU were the only show in town when it came to buying the Ricoh so by your own admission you don't seem to know a lot.

Some consider this to be one of the best decisions in our history, SISU will seemingly never get hold of the Ricoh which was all that mattered to some. A turning point in our history for sure.

Hardly considering AEHC agreed to the change of chairman! did you even read the article

The apparent change comes after Wasps and the Alan Edward Higgs Charity, which currently owns the other half share of ACL, signed a ‘special resolution’.

Little future for the club whoever the owner if wasps get 100%, and we're left with a lifetime of rent matchday only/little access to revenue.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - so please excuse any spelling or grammar errors :)

... or huge mortgage payments on a stadium so far out of town that the only revenue is 23 matches a year.
People need to wake up and smell the coffee.

It hasn't been bought has it? It's been given away. The lease has been extended sixfold and there is even a suggestion the taxpayer is still liable for the loan!

Still when there is unquestioning nodding idiots like you around they will always have their way.

Probably float around league 2/league 1 for the next 30 years, maybe if we have an incredible season we can fluke a one off promotion to the championship only to be relegated the following. Or if we play really well we may be able to reach the FA Cup 3rd round.

On the brightside we may progress to the latter stages of the JPT

Given away doesn't even get close - the deal is notably worse than the one SISU put on the table two years ago.

So your also saying that SISU are shit at negotiating. At last you're cottoning on. You're no longer the unquestioning nodding idiot that means SISU will always fuck the club over I took you for.

Some of our fans don't deserve a football club to support.
I don't know what's more depressing. The fact that the club is now completely fucked (which now includes when Sisu are finally gone). Or the apparent glee that comes across from certain posters that wasps and the council have got one over on Sisu, even if its to the detriment of our club.

Not to mention that people are now saying, well SISU should have got in there first and that its there fault Wasps beat them to do it. After years of previously saying SISU must never get the Ricoh

a forward thinking team being pro active and paying the going rate for a smashing venue. why didnt our owners have the nous or business accumen to beat them to it, i mean theyve had long enough to think about it

The going rate?

Wasps only got it at the going rate if ACL was going down the toilet. Maybe SISU did a good job of distressing them after all.

Glad you are happy the 'childrens charity' have got less to spend on the needy now.

Even a suggestion ??? either you know or you don't know, there may also be a suggestion that WASPS are taking on 100% of the loan. The facts will be revealed in time and who do you expect will be responsible for the loan if not the owners of ACL wild speculation unless evidence to the contrary

We need new owners then. These morons aint capable of delivering anything.

Other than the fact ACL wanted I assume to vote to agree their bid. Oh dear

The apparent change comes after Wasps and the Alan Edward Higgs Charity, which currently owns the other half share of ACL, signed a ‘special resolution’.
The document, lodged with Companies House on October 8, gives the chairman of ACL a ‘casting vote’ in the event of a split vote from its board members on any issue.

Why bashing Ann Lucas on this one - it's apparently AEHC who have agreed to give Wasps the veto power.
