Bryan Richardson and the fucking Ricoh Arena.

But what was the cause all the way through this?

No, I'm not. I'll add to your list:

SISU at fault.

So why are all your posts one sided?

You attack anyone who defends the Higgs or CCC.

I know mine are but I blame SISU for 90% of this situation and I have never hidden that fact.

We do not know the detail of either bid
we do not know which bid is bigger or the terms
we do not know what the conditions are that SISU have imposed
do any of the conditions imposed mean that the AEHC can not actually meet those conditions
we do not even know which SISU company has bid for the 50%
Are there any legal challenges involved
we do not know who now owns the shares in CCFC Ltd, it used to be CCFC H Ltd but that has ceased to exist
Does the liquidator control the option, or does SBS&L because in 2008 it was transferred in to those accounts and included at £1m, or do Otium claim it as part of what they purchased in 2013
Can the option be transferred at all without the AEHC permission

What ever happens this week I think there are going to be legal challenges to whatever the decision is........ situation normal ?

Great post OSB. Describes the situation perfectly. And it shows that we are all guessing what will happen next.

And as many of us previously stated I hope that SISU are taking this bid seriously as they won't get another chance. They stated that it wasn't just about the money. It was also about SISU working with Higgs in the future. I just hope that it doesn't mean that they hardly offered any money and wanted to work with Higgs in the ownership of the arena as they have wanted out for ages. This would more or less hand their share over to Wasps.

No, I will have a go at anyone who blames SISU 100% because it's not true. I have always said that SISU take the lion's share of the blame. I support CCFC me and it annoys me that SISU have fucked them over. It also annoys me that the Council have, Wasps have and certain fans seem to be happy with that. And, before you try and say it's bullshit, there ARE fans who would gladly see SISU fall by the wayside even if it damages the club.

Agree. What Richardson and his catastrophic decision to move to the Ricoh started, SISU have carried on. And now Wasps.

Yes correct, and then there was the new owners who then bulldozed everyone in their path and thought that the fans didn't matter.

Not what I meant as you know......but I will give you that one as you are right :p

We should never have left HR as we couldn't afford to.

Unsure if CCC should have got the Ricoh built or not. Used to think yes but now unsure.

Should have taken admin and told SISU to fook off. But we didn't know how low they would take us or how events would lead us to where we are now. And now all sides seem to be in competition on how much they can fook our club up.

Yes their are fans that would be happy with that and yes I know some.

They have declared never to return while Sisu are here and have so far stuck to their guns they would also come back like a shot if sisu left.

It is our Club not sisus, I moan about us not being successful but I would still go and watch them in the conference league, as long as they are in Coventry.

Our club is already badly damaged. And the damage isn't limited yet. And who would take our club over whilst the future is so much in doubt? But yes it could well be worth the gamble as all I can see is the damage continuing under SISU.

I don't think so. Go back and read their silly little threads and letters to the council begging them to block any chance of the club THEY support getting a slice of the stadium which was built for the club. That is rock bottom.

Can't say I've seen this draft letter you talk about but did it say don't sell to CCFC or don't sell to SISU/ARVO?

Makes no difference. Ultimately they are saying do not give any of the stadium to the club. That view has always shortsighted in my view as SISU will not be here forever. No Wasps are.

TBF there was some in the Telegraph.(doubt they were written by anyone on here though)

It is just the way that certain posters now try to use that against others on here as if they had written them.

And all just to try and belittle people.

Funny how these same posters are the first to call people Bullshitters, and then say prove it where's the link.

They then stay off a thread when challenged themselves.

I for one am the first to admit when I have been wrong some just don't have it in them.

Well that's confirmed what I think most people suspected. So what now, seems to me we have very limited options:

1) SISU negotiate a long term rental deal that enable the club to be sustainable at this level and higher - not too confident on this given SISUs track record. We'd only been back at the Ricoh 5 mins before Fisher started on about the new deal not being sustainable if we got into the championship.

2) Hope that it all goes horribly wrong for Wasps and they retreat back to London and sell to us - for the sake of their fans you'd hope not but frankly they aren't my priority, an ideal scenario for me would be them ending up back in London and us paying them what they have paid.

3) Build the new stadium - I have zero confidence in this happening but on the plus side we should now be able to look for sites actually in the city. The rate we're going at give it a few years and we can move to the Butts.

What a mess we've ended up in and seemingly no light at the end of the tunnel. Can't help but think if SISU had have just purchased the 50% to start off with we'd own the whole thing by now. How many times have we heard them say it was impossible to make a bid, the structure was too complicated etc yet Wasps seemed to have managed it with no problems.

I'm 40 now and I'm starting to wonder if we're going to be able to get out of the mess SISU have got us in during my lifetime. What an absolute shambles our club is at the moment from any angle you look at it from. It's so bad we're not even a laughing stock, we're even getting sympathy from Leicester and Villa fans.

Ah, here we go again.....

But you know I am right.

And you are the one who accused us of threatening you!! when all we said was come and see us and speak to us outside the Ricoh while we were handing out leaflets for the trust.

why because it suited your agenda.

Number 2 is my favourite scenario, Dave. Wasps fails and go back to where they belong (London, don't forget!) with their stinger between their legs. SISU buy all of ACL then sell on to someone else who can take us forward.

Makes no difference to suit your argument you mean. When people were going to Suxfields it was all support the team not the regime. So how's this different?

Does anyone actually have any proof that the club would be better off if SISU owned the ground rather than Higgs/CCC or Wasps for that matter?

SISU have always been sketchy at best with these details and quite deliberately IMO.

No, you're not.

Your posts of full of little snide "certain people" comments, and before you even know the facts say it's only people on the CT. Then I post the link. And you have the gall to say you always apologise when you're wrong. I posted the link, now do the same with the CCFC ad on the CCC site.

But you know I am right.

I suppose it's as different as I don't support franchising or hedge funds. Oh, what I mean is I support Wasps and their franchising and their hedge fund because it's not SISU.

I'm sure you've read Italia's posts. You've probably blocked it out. Too traumatic for you. You're still trying to justify how great Wasps coming to the Ricoh is, so you're no doubt feeling a little confused.

The difference being people have only said that in your head.

You're clearly confusing accepting that it's happened and we can't do a thing about it because SISU missed the boat by fucking around with JR's, rent strikes etc. in a seriously flawed and failed attempt to wrestle control of the Ricoh for promoting and supporting the wasps takeover. Do yourself a favour go and lie down before you make yourself look any sillier than you already have.

Well, it looks like the Ricoh has gone from the club for good. Maybe Higgs would put the proceeds from Wasps into a trust fund created to build the club a new ground in Coventry sometime in the future. Obviously a new ground would only belong to the club at some time when Sisu and their ilk are long gone. I'm sure legislation controlling who can own our proud old clubs is coming soon.

Some consider this to be one of the best decisions in our history, SISU will seemingly never get hold of the Ricoh which was all that mattered to some. A turning point in our history for sure.

I think it was the "unencumbered freehold" that people were worried about - carte blanche for JS.

Many people favoured a long term lease - with terms favouring CCFC as a football team - at a low rent. It would have been a turning point if SISU had acheived that, but someone else came in and did it. That's why people like me are disappointed.

Wishful thinking. Regardless of who took over we (the Club) will never own our stadium. It makes the decision to sell HR seem crazier and crazier. That decision will affect our club for decades to come.

I think a 50/50 could be difficult to work with. But that is why I felt, if SISU really wanted a 50 share, they should have been locked in negotiations with Wasps. Really trying to sell what they could bring to the table and how such a partnership would benefit Wasps.

Any right to veto wouldn't matter if Wasps felt it was advantageous to have SISU as co owners. But as normal SISU seem void of ideas to move our club forward. Seppala's press release said something like "a lot of our fans think we should buy 50 per cent" not we want it? Still spouting off about the fantasy stadium.

You've answered your own question.

100% was agreed on day one - only a blind man would have not seen it. Astute still says they own 50%!

Transfer will happen this week and I assume a new board has all biit been appointed.

More litigation then from Sisu?

If he has only been asked to resign he could tell them to f..k off.
Make them sack him for some obscure reason and then we would have the 1st court action of the wasps era.
