I actually think we, the fans that is, will be better off in the long term with a 100% Wasp ownership. Rome wasn't built in a day and I hope within that 100% there is scope and attraction to any would be buyer of our football club, should it be within the Wasp structure or not. I would not be comfortable at all if sisu had that 50% share to do with as they pleased. I am hoping there is a long term plan behind all this,

This is a bit inaccurate:
The chances of Coventry City Football Club’s owners securing a half share in the Ricoh Arena company seem increasingly unlikely after it was revealed Premiership rugby side Wasps would have to approve their latest bid.

Wasps cannot approve or disapprove the bid. They can accept or block a new shareholder.
Only Higgs can approve the bid.

It may seem pedantic, but I find it's all these small inaccuracies that gets people confused.

If you were the Higgs trust would you sell to Sisu after all their carry on's?
I know I wouldn't, Sisu have had their chances and blew them!!

Completely agree but without them being forgiving we are screwed.

And our chances of owning anything will be screwed. FFS, see the bigger picture. SISU will NOT be here for ever, our club will.

You sure about that ? . The way things are going IMO it wont . :(
The way it is going we will do well to get a non league side out in 5 years time. Income now drives football, we have no income, the Ricoh gives us income...to be honest I am now at the point where if Wasps do get all of the Ricoh I will whole heartedly support plans to build a new stadium elsewhere. Not that we can afford to do that either.

If SISU outbid Wasps and demonstrate to Wasps that a joint venture is better than one or the other only, they could not legitimately refuse.

Simple because they want 100% of the revenue that the Ricoh produces just the same as CCFC wanted 100% of the revenue.
Where is the advantage for Wasps to dilute its income in half just to make the football club happy when it can have it all including it hopes the rent off CCFC.
(Acceptable bid pending) AEHC can either show some backbone and say to Wasps you are not getting our share the people of Coventry deserve it to go to CCFC or they can capitulate and grap the franchise cash sticking two fingers up to the people of Coventry and instead favouring a sports club from outside the city.
