From this morning's press conference:

"We are bringing Charles-Cook back from Nuneaton, it's unfortunate for Nuneaton but even young Jake Richards is struggling."

From what I have heard he has been a shining light at Nuneaton, yes conceded goals but from a point of view whereby that the defence in front of him has been poor.

What do we reckon?

Will he play on Wednesday night? Daft question but with the JPT can you only make a certain amount of changes does the sending off count as a change?

Would be hard on the Lad.To play behind a shit defence in a lower league and let goals in is one thing, Playing behind a shit defence at a higher level, well thats just not fair on him. We have seen off too developing careers lets not do it again!!

Allsopp will be number 1 now.

Charles-Cook will be back up until Burge is back from his ban

(that's unless Burge is one of the players SP plans to 'banish')

I find it hard how sitting him on a bench or stand to watch us play is better than him playing every Saturday and gaining experience..I am all for development and players making the jump but the number is to high for us to compete at pro level... We still have younger players that we think of now as solid 1st team but are still very young Willis, Haynes, Phillips, Maddison and Finch. They will make mistakes, show dips in form and become frustrated at not progressing faster look at Daniels the boy is going backwards...

But if our academy GK is injured, would we not end up putting a school kid on the bench if RC stayed at Nuneaton? What's the next team below the u18's? U15's? Imagine if he had to come on! Just keep playing cross bar challenge and hope one loops in as he wouldn't able to reach the bar ;)

Sounds like an upgrade from what we currently have!

I just posted this another thread but I'll repeat it here, Scott Loach has gone on loan to Bury which would have been an idea signing for us.

So long as he doesn't do silly things that earn him a ban......

Burge was also a shining light for Nuneaton last season remember.......

Not last season, the season before. For me him sitting on our bench all of last season is one of the reasons his progress has been stunted.
