Can't see it tbh, I reckon around L1 is his level. Not good enough technically to play higher where all centre backs are expected to be comfortable receiving and passing the ball.

I'd have him back here though.

What happened to Shaun Jeffers, didn't he score against us and it was like we got rid of Ronaldo or something?

I believe he's playing in the conference north for Brackley Town, on loan from L2 Newport county. Peterborough signed him last aug, but offloaded him to Newport in Jan, I hadn't realised he'd moved.

I thought Nathan had HUGE potential, maybe even international, when he first got in the team as a young lad. It was so disappointing how badly he played in his second season, but (assuming the article is accurate) I’m well pleased that his ability is coming out again and he might get a chance to play at the top.

The list of players we have allowed to slip through our fingers in the last 7 years, when compared to what we now have, is heart-breaking.

Think this is a tad over the top. NC performed well in our last Champ season, though like Jordan Clarke, I think he went backwards in his first league 1 season and got the chop on the back of that. Premier League is ridiculous talk but currently, I think he would be an ever present if still here.

If we're including mcgoldrick (loan signing), there's got to be a couple of better midfielders than baker and moussa that left us, Jay Tabb for one.

Funnily enough, the only decent game I witnessed from Cameron was at Gigg lane against Bury a couple years back.....

think it was the first game after Mark "full of shit & sky blue blood" Robins jumped ship.....

we won 2-0 & he was pretty much perfect for the full 90mins.....

Championship winning team right there. Losing them all was part of SISU ' S 'long term vision' though. 100 year promotion plan is still on course under their wonderful regime......

DMC, King and Besty before Wilson and Juke tbh.

Juke isn't even that good, surprised Burnley went in for him. Just looked decent for us next to Platt.

I think Dyche wanted another big man to go with Ings as Vokes was injured, but certainly not Prem quality. Did alright for Bolton at the back end of last season though.

These points must have been raised a million times but here we go again:

Westwood - Wanted to move on, wasn't interested in staying.
Keogh - Wasn't staying with us after relegation to League 1
Dann - £4.5M for a Championship CB in 2008 was a lot of money, I probably would have accepted it as well, Good deal for he Club.
Turner - Sold after the cost cutting began, at the time was an average deal.
Christie - Wanted to move on.
Gunnarson - Wanted to move on.
Bigi - Overhyped, we got a good deal for him in my view.
Tabb - I liked JT, I thought it wasn't a great move that he left, but Reading were pushing for Premier League at the time, why wouldn't he want to jump ship?
Wilson - In our situation when Cal was sold, it was a good deal for the Club especially if he kicks on again and gets a bigger move (no offence to Ballmouth).
Juke - Stupid sale.

Out of all of the above names you mentioned Juke is the only sale I would criticise, the other players either didn't want to stay it the Club received suitable offers.

With respect to Nathan Cameron though I thought he played pretty decent under Aidy Boothroyd, but after Mark Robins turned up on the scene he seemed to dwindle out..

Robo, saying all those players “wanted to move on” only reinforces the point. Why did they want to go? In managing a football club, you can create an upward spiral or a downward spiral. Good players naturally want to leave when they see the constant sale of other good players. I suspect all of them would have been happy to stay at an ambitious CCFC.

Letting Cameron go was a different sort of blinkered policy – a failure to realise the potential of a young player we had brought through.

Either way, our recovery can never happen until we draw a line in the sand and start holding on to the good ‘uns.

Remember seeing him in the youth team, and he was head and shoulders the stand out player.

Now of course that was partly down to physique and being stronger than the other kids but... was also convinced he'd make it.

Not just us it didn't work out with, Northampton took him on loan but he didn;t end up there so... maybe a move was for the best for everybody.

That can be the case NL, but with the likes of Westwood and Gunnarson it wasn't the case at all, Westwood said he wanted to play in the Premier League way before he inevitably joined Sunderland..

I don't think the Wilson deal was good for the club in anyway shape or form,, it paid for lawyers costs and 3 very sub standard players in return.. Of which 1 didn't want to come, 1 has already gone back and another who is a GK learning a trade at out expense.. That move was stupid short sighted and alone should be getting SW the boot, as for the others brought in on the back of CW none is or have been pulling up any trees or making fans run to watch..
