I actually requested 'Hope The Twats Are Happy' on the tunnel, in honourable memory of those who have offered sycophantic support of SISU's every move...

Yeah not even anyone on here qualifies for that. Although I'd rather SISU acquired 100% of ACL than Wasps as it would have hastened their departure from our club-but each to their own.

Those made up people you mean?

There are those who have blamed Thorn, CCC, ACL, Higgs and now Wasps all more vocally than they have judged SISU. You have invariably danced around their folly with childish delight; which I guess is the reason you now delude yourself as to their non-existance. I mean, if they didn't exist, you couldn't have agreed with them, right?

You forgot to include those who supported the council in moving a London rugby team to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry

When the football team didn't want it, some people who like rugby and are one of the 95% of local tax payers who don't go to The Ricoh to watch CCFC would be entitled to support it, rather than watch it sit empty, I guess

Is this a WUM or is it real?

Assuming it's a real comment:
- You should contact ACL as it is their responsibility.
- Have you asked CCFC about your brick when they left the City of Coventry?
- Have you asked ACL in the past about your brick?
- Who owns the physical brick? (should be in the contract)
- What is the normal response time stated by ACL for queries?

Father Jack loves his brick, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROcKPuPvcWU

Careful now

Just because people are vocal against something other than SISU does not mean they offered support of SISU's every move.

Only an idiot would take that point of view.

Wasps have got what they wanted, 100% of ACL for 250 years.

Initially their PR was about making a case that the councillors could sell to the Coventry public, which was basically pushing against an open door given what had gone on with SISU.

Now there will be a bit of PR about how great the city is, and how much they want to integrate into it etc. This is of course in the hope of selling more tickets, and saving their council allies a bit of embarassment by making sure the stadium isn't too empty.

As for individual queries about stuff like Jimmy Hill's statue, or the bricks - they couldn't give a f*ck. They've no interest in CCFC fans as individuals, but if enough people kick up a fuss they might address it as damaging to their chances of getting cross over support from CCFC fans.

This is all my opinion, fwiw. And to be clear, I'm not saying that SISU are much better.

quick question - how good was SISU's PR when they came and how did they integrate with the city ( the one with same name as in the football club's name )?

Get to fuck. No one has been so myopic as to think that. You just can't stand the fact you precious council are as knee deep in this shit as the rest of them.

And I do still blame Thorn.

It's been terrible throughout but if your only support of someone else it they haven't been as bad as SISU it's hardly a ringing endorsement.

Come on Nick. There's at least one. I'll give you a clue. HELP! PUSB

Others just hide behind excuses like "no one from SISU post on here so there's no point complaining about them on here" before blaming and slating everyone else involved who presumably do post on here ;)

support is the wrong word. Observation. From what I have seen Wasps are going about moving into the Ricoh the right way. SISU came as a secretive hedge fund who promptly upset the landlords, the council and anyone with whom they came into contact with. They could have started as Wasps, and built up relationships. Then one day have bought back the Higgs share and tried for a longterm lease. So, it isn't a ringing endorsement, but SISU just never built up a relationship with the owners of the stadium - a big mistake - or the powers that be in the city with the same name as the football club.

No, that was when people questioned michaels non existant rent offer while people were wanking themselves silly saying it should be accepted knowing nothing about it. People questioned Michael directly as he was on here.

I heard that fare before the judicial reviews. And then successive judges found that this didn't hold water. They pointed the finger of blame firmly in one direction. The smoking gun wasn't smoking. And the gun didn't exist

Is this a porn forum? You seem to think that we are wanking or creaming or getting hard on a CCFC forum. There are much better forums for wanking. Actually the constant stream of bad news relating to CCFC has the opposite effect on me. Anyone got a good price on Viagra?

The people that are percieved as the SISU apologists are the people that actually try and offer some kind of balance and perspective to the discussion, as the majority of other just go for the SISU bandwagon.

It does not mean they are endorsing or supporting all their actions.

That's what makes it a debate instead of just a bunch of men getting giddy over who can slag the owners off in the coolest way.

It may be to do with the fact that SISU are in charge of the destiny of CCFC and, quite frankly, the future is not looking good. Losing to Worcester at home and losing the Ricoh show the extent of our demise under SISU.

Yeah. Damn that council for speaking to another interested party when the one who's sueing them owing a fortune has stated they don't want the venue...
Yes just after they have moving speeches about moving clubs etc to pull the heart strings of fans! Doing an anti drugs speech tonight if you want to come, I'll save you some on the spliff.

There is a constant narrative in their statements you may have missed. In one, they're trying to protect the interests of our city in a sporting context; and in the other - given the prospect of a stadium potentially left empty by a tenant who's building afresh - they would claim they're promoting the interests of our city in a sporting context. See?

Damn council for saying 'we must rebuild bridges, then we can talk about ownership' whilst already in discussion to sell ownership to Wasps.

Duh! Moving our club, obviously. Be honest Nick, there's more complaints on here than there is from Wasps fans. Hardly the same level of feeling from those that matter.

Someone remind me about the bricks. How did you get one? Did you pay? If so who did the money go to?

Yes. I agree. As I've stated on here, that certainly appears duplicitous. But, that comes after two dozen duplicitous statements or actions from SISU ahead of that time. Negotiation is all about trust. I kept on saying on here - what happens if SISU's gamble with our club backfires? Well, now we know...

SISU Capital, the hedge fund from Mayfair London run off shore financially from the Cayman Islands have without doubt been a complete catastrophe for Coventry City football club. The list of their failings is growing every month to the point that their incompetence continues to ridicule our much loved and historic club to the wider world. Never have we been so low and bereft of ideas for improvement. Never has communication, marketing and a general strategy for the future been so opaque and hopeless. The club has nothing left but despicable bullshitters like Fisher and Waggot talking drivel about stadium cuckoo up the yellow brick road whilst they await their next crack in court...................what next ?

Apart from that everything is rosy in the garden

I remember cautioning Sky Blue Taylor often on here ,as the Chips were played and the Risk ratcheted up.

Looks like you were right, they banked on the council and ACL giving a shit about the club and turns out they don't anymore.

Honestly don't even see the point anymore, nobody with any influence cares about the club. Maybe at one time they genuinely did but it looks like they've all given up now.

In his defence here he did mention that a few posts back and how it was shady.

I know to be fair he did acknowledge it. When SISU do it - abhorrent, morally bankrupt etc etc... CCC do it - a bit shady is the best that can be mustered.
