Whatever happened to Les Reid (1 Viewer)

People's hopes about what? Was that not councillors spouting off that ccfc could buy the other 50% when it clearly wasn't ever going to happen? Or was that just a media assault?

Reid had no understanding of the Higgs documents but pretended he did.

There was no option. There was a veto. There's your answer.
So why were the council giving false hope by going to the press saying that ccfc can buy it, make an offer etc when they knew full well. Was that not getting false hope to fans?

I don't know the ins and outs of law and politics but when a journo gives false hope and then the council leader openly does it too. Which is worse?

Were the councillors also informed of this or were they just lying too when giving it billy big spuds online about it not being down to the club to buy higgs 50%?

ACL wholly owned by Wasps. Sisu without a chance of challenging that, successfully. Sisu have been outplayed, deservedly so. The CCFC fans deserve better.

Well that means we are all in the know then - except perhaps Les Reid. Any info on the JR? Or the new stadium? Or meetings between Wasps and SISU?

What did they actually say Nick? The Cov Tel story does not suggest that there was any prospect of success, they use the words "The complicated situation means, in theory, Coventry City owners Sisu may be able to find a way of securing the charity’s shares through CCFC Ltd. ", I read this as it is possible but hardly likely. Did you not understand that?

So you were mislead by that if intheknow is correct and there was no chance it was going to happen. That is giving a bit of false hope isn't it?

On my phone so can't get the link on twitter saying it was now down to the club to make an offer etc etc, this was a vocal councillor too. He did go quiet when pushed.

Does that mean the trust?

He has said this himself.

everyone he has said he would meet he has.

He has said he will meet with the fans therefore I believe he will.

How long by the way did it take our owners before they met anyone ?

And how long did they wait before the met their own fans?

Did they tell us anything when they did?

But you expect answers from the Wasps straight away and then all start talking about conspiracies etc

I have met a few representatives from all sides most of what they have said is shit.

I personally Will give wasps a chance to speak and see what actions come from it, before I make a judgement.

you and others however can prejudge if you want.

I like others Prejudge Sisu I was wrong!! They don't care.

You can if you like, but unlike Haskell he looks like he is here to stay!!!

I personally am not interested anymore so will probably not even attend.

Fed up now with all the political shit just want to go back to supporting the team like I used to.

If they'd swap the days so the meetings weren't always on bloody Mondays it'd be a lot easier!

Do you reckon he'd pop to the Chesford?
