Do you support or despise SISU after the past few days of what they’ve done or said?

We spent 400k on Cody, probably half up front and the rest in Add ons, we got 600k+ from Dann and 750k for turner Sisu made a tidy sum! Sisu spent 500k on the training ground apparently and mortgaged it for 1m. Sisu havnt put a penny of their own money into this club for along time!

So the supposed 200k to 300k from the sale of Dann was now 600k :thinking about: As you say probably. You must be in the know, just as so many on here who guess and start rumours. SISU have not put any cash in for ages? So where has the cash come to pay for our losses?

If you knew how they were trying to sell absolutely crucial players on Weds night, you would never ever ever back them. We were so close to being stripped bare, and only a lack of time prevented that from being the case. They didn't mention another player who was 30mins from being gone. We must make of displeasure visible and clear against Derby-just support the players as well. It was obvious enough that they had our backing against Watford-if anything it was the best atmosphere for ages! I will never rest until SISU are out of my club-every statement just rubs salt into the wounds, as it makes a big lie even bigger!

So you know how we were trying to sell all our players? Please let us know what you know and how? So which player was 30 mins away from going, and where to? Why did it fail with 30 mins to go?

I would prefer to have a mega rich person or company in like Fester so we could waste millions on sh1t players. We do not. Do you know anyone who has major cash to put into us? We have SISU. They have a new board. I am willing to see if we bring in any loan players. We are not far away from being a decent Championship side. A couple of attacking midfielders and anything could happen this season. We could have a good goalscorer. A bit more backup with goals, Jukey to get more confidence when the goals start going in, the Ricoh getting fuller with a winning run starting with the atmosphere to go with it.... well I can dream. All can happen though.

I suppose we could get into the Prem and lots on here would still say SISU out as they only have the brainpower to see what they want to see and hate admitting they might have been wrong. I am waiting to see what happens the next few weeks myself.

Astute,

Whilst i understand and agree with some of your sentiments, I think the above is a little harsh.

From my point of view I am not a fan of SISU, and would be glad to see the back of them. I do though understand that we dont have a long list of interested parties in the club and at present we cant be choosy about our ownership.
That is not to say that there are not interested parties in the club if SISU decided to pull the plug, and therfeore until that day comes in the form of potential administration (if we ever get to that point) we shall never know.

As for the quote above, I am sure many of us who dislike SISU would be glad to admit we were wrong if they got the team promoted, but really what are the chances of that happening?

In over four years of ownership the club seem to be in as worse postion now as when they took over, financially and certainly on the playing side.

My distrust for them stems from the false dawns , ie) still not investing inthe stadium, appalling communication, misleading statements etc but mainly from the shoddy state of our squad.

We now have one of the poorest squads I can remember in a long time. Three of our better players left the club in the summer (although not directly SISUS fault, as they couldnt make them sign new contracts, but were the ones offerred to them any good?) but they havent been replaced.
We also let a number of squad players leave on free transfers, many deservedly so as not good enough quality, but again they havent been replaced.

We are very low on numbers, relying on youth team players to make up the squad, and dont seem able to cope with any sort of injury crisis. We are also struggling to replace players who are seemingly out of form, as we have no one to bring in to replace them or to put pressure on their place in the team, and this highlights our overall lack of quality in the squad.

It paints a worrying picture, and makes me suspect the actions and intelligence of our owners, as surely if they are to make money they need to attract us the fans, the paying public, their customers, by making us want to watch the team, by playing good football and having success, and it is this success which we are starved of.

I respect that everyone wont agree with my views, and that others think differently, but for the sake of the club i would love to see SISU move on, but only if, and its a big if, someone else was prepared to take the club on.

So because i disagree with your view I'm
Brain dead? It works both ways, maybe you are not intelligent enough to cut through the crap and see the true picture? Maybe you are right maybe I am who knows? You think the losses still stand at £500k a week? I'd love to see how that is worked out. It works in sisus favour to make us believe this! We must have shaved 20-25k-+ off the wage bill in the summer.... We've got crainie and clingan in the same postion this season, why were they not offered new deals 1-2 years ago? Sisu and the board have not got a clue how to run a football club. You are obviously entitled to your opinion, but don't start trying to insult people who disagree

This an absolutely key point and huge factor!! Bell and McSheffrey and Baker would have been dropped for sure after embarrassingly poor performances, but of course that hasn't happened due to a lack of replacements. This will really, really hurt us unless we build up the squad.

£500K per week! I think it is more like per month? CCFC owes £39M to SISU acoording to these articles, but it also says those debts will probably be written off.

Well this is the point 500k per month is probabaly nowhere near the figure now, Sisu bought in enough money on deadline day after mcdonalds fee to cover losses untill January, at which point more players will likey be sold, after that has ran out and there are no saleable assets left, then what?

Show me where I mentioned your name or where I said anyone is braindead  One minded maybe, not braindead. Show me where I said how much we are out of pocket either each week or even each month. Then I will show you how it is worked out. If you want to take any comments I have made as insults then you are either reading too much into it or you take everything personal. So maybe I am too thick to see through the crap? Yes this is a quote from you. So as I have said I think there will be SISU haters whatever. Yes, we have a small squad. Players can't be forced to sign a contract anymore. Bosman was to blame for this. Before then it was too much on the side of the clubs. Now it is too much on the side of the players. We need a middle ground. Since the Bosman ruling players wages have shot through the roof. Players agents have done so much harm to teams like us. They have also done harm to some players careers. Look at what happened with Mifsud.

I do not like what has happened to our club. I do not like what has happened to our squad. I do not like the way SISU have done things. Was this to do with who they brought in to run our club? We can only guess. Yes, we need to own the ground. Can SISU take ownership? I doubt it at the moment. Is the new board going to be any better than the old one? We will have to wait and see.

I don't care if people think I am thick. I still think a couple of good loan players, attacking midfielders, can give us a good season. Most teams are weaker than last season. SISU said they were trying to bring in a player or two before the transfer window closed. Looks like they bought a striker that knows how to score. They have now said they are going to try and bring in some loan players. As I have said I will wait and see what happens. Protests at games will affect the players. Am I thick to say this? I would prefer to be owned by others than SISU. We are not. End of. We have had more false hopes with takeovers. The last one came at a bad time. It did not leave much time before the end of the transfer window.

SISU out, but only when we have someone better that have cash to spend and are willing to do it. If we turn things around and don't become a cash cow for them I would like them to stay. They took over a club that was in a bad way. I suspect it was much worse than they thought. It was going to be a big job whoever took over.

Good post astute, I certainly agree with many things you have said, I dont like SISU but until someone else comes in they are our owners.

The point you made about other clubs also being weaker this season is one i personally hadnt looked, at but realise is a very true fact.

I still feel compared to previous seasons we have a real lack of strength in depth and its the situation of not having alternatives to either injured or under performing players that worries me.

Roll on the loans!!

Thanks Moff

We have had a lack of depth for many years though. A half decent playing squad, but crap afterwards. Good start to the season most years, but as soon as the injuries started then hoping to stay up each season. I can't pretend to be the most knowledgable, but I am not amongst the least knowledgable and I do have a busness head on me. Hopefully we have turned the corner with the finances. A couple of good loans at not much cost to us would be a major bonus. There are some excellent players out there that just need to play to get experience. Look where Henderson is now. AT seems to be the manager for us. He knows what he wants and needs. Just hope he gets it.
