Questions (4 Viewers)

You will never get an answer to the questions about a new stadium since there never will be one. Most of the other questions, apart from a very few points, would be regarded as confidential for business reasons. And even if you did get answers to any question, would you really believe the answers? I mean based on their past record. We all have to just wait and see what happens, but not expect any advance knowledge.

Whilst I realise that many of the questions will either be dodged by claiming confidentiality or by simply not being answered it is 100% certain that there will be no answers at all if the questions are not asked in the first place.

Unless you get answers how can you form any judgement as to whether you believe or not. Not everything that has been said by those in control at the club has been wrong or misleading.

What I would like however comes very low on the list of things that the club would seek to fulfil - in fact almost certainly doesn't make the list at all

Yes I would like all the questions and others answered fully and openly but I am not naiive enough to think that there is any chance of that - but I made that point in the original post right above the questions I posed

OSB at this moment in time I don't think the higher ups at the club have the foggiest idea of what their future plans are which is why the honest answer to a lot of your questions will be 'don't know sorry'. It is precisely this though that makes it vital for the same higher ups to sit up and listen to what fans who still care about the club are putting forward. The SCG in its present guise is not fit for purpose and made to offer the pretence of transparency when it is in fact the opposite and mutes direct questioning.

Maybe the deafening silence from Waggott/Fisher and co is a sign they have smelt the coffee.

You could well be right BSB. I fully agree with your summation as to the worth of the SCG

One question I would ask is; what are their long term plans for the football club and if they have an exit strategy? How they will achieve that strategy and what parameters they have for doing so, including a probable time line? If that strategy includes a new stadium will they exit with said stadium in the ownership of CCFC or will they remain the freeholders?

I like the question Paxman II - trouble is it is likely to fall in to the category of "that's confidential" like many of the questions I asked. I certainly do not expect most questions to get a detailed reply.

so much for transparency huh?

All answers will be on the back of a stamp then licked and attached to a Highfield Road postcard.

Now we have loaded the gun with questions who do we get to fire it?

Good question.

SCG. Forget it.

Trust. Maybe. If they ever get a reply from TF to their open letter.

Otherwise maybe the media could make an attempt to arrange and mediate a forum of some sort and OSB could ask the questions directly. Perhaps CWR or CET or dare I even say it the Coventry Observor.

The problem is if Fisher knew that a forum was organised with OSB (or someone on his behalf) asking these questions, he would never agree to it in the first place. You only have to look at the reaction he gave when he questioned him (and Steve Brookfield the accountant) about the Memorandum and Articles at last years forum.

Great questions. I can't see them being posed by anyone unless another fans forum is organised. Maybe the trust could do with getting on some local media channels to starr making some noise eg cwr?

I will forward to the Trust and ask them to put the questions direct but also via the SCG fans representatives. I suspect that the Trust would first like to give Mr Fisher the opportunity to answer their letter properly so that the two things do not get confused. I agree with that. Would the SCG fans representatives put the questions properly and press for full answers? - I have to say I have my doubts but if the questions come from them then Fisher and co can not hide behind proper procedure

If a meeting is needed to address them then I am happy to attend, with say representatives of the Trust, but only on the basis that all answers are on the record and reported back to fans. That's non negotiable. That condition I would assume would not be acceptable to the club or could severely restrict the answers and the usefulness of such a meeting. I will not attend if I had to agree to confidentiality in a similar way that Ward & Strange have.

I am not skilled in the media whilst the likes of Fisher are very skilled so perhaps that would not be the best venue for getting answers. Easy to dodge questions or give half answers if there is a time limit. So I am not in favour of doing such a forum on CWR or similar

My guess is they have all seen the questions already

I think the Questions set by OSB cut to the heart of what we as supporters want to know, however if they truly are in the middle of negotiations with other parties then using a non disclosure agreement is reasonable and prudent. That said that does not stop the questions being asked but at this time a "that is commercially confidential" or refer to the accounts when published is a reasonable answer.

So given that we don't want a one shot yes no session with them , we want to see progress, intent and commitment to the cause every one of OSB's questions should be supplemented by when will you be able to share that information with the supporters. Ie when can we revisit this as we are not going away.

I have always posted that I think SISU are 100% to blame for our current situation, but I have also posted that people like me who hold that point of view need to engage with the club on in positive manner to move things forward. The past is gone and cannot be changed but tomorrow can.

I would be interested in adding the following questions to OSB list that would at least allow some broader based dialogue to begin on a higher level

1) Do you have a business plan for the club. If yes how far are we into this plan and when can we see it? or at least the highlights detailing Goals vs Timescales.

2) Do you have metrics to measure progress against this plan? If yes what are they and when can we see them

3) What does success look like for The Club and the owners at the following times
a) at the end of the transfer window Jan 2015
b) at the end of the season may 2015
c) at the start of next season aug 2015
d) at the end of the 2015/16 season

4) Given your business plan when do you expect the club to return to the championship

5) Given your plan when do you expect the Club to be

a) Non loss making
b) Consistently profitable

6) Given you have a business plan when will you be able to share the stadium plans with the supporters either a successful land purchase or a plan to stay put at the Ricoh?

7) Given Question 3 and the clubs ambitions and business plan at which point will you be assessing Steven Pressley’s future at the club.

8) Having seen our attendances dwindle to about 8,000 does this negatively affect your plan? We do not want and answer that refers the Stadium ownership and revenue arguments but how you will move the club forward from where it is today.

9) Do you have a plan to increase attendances and when can you share that with us?

And Yes OSB should be put forward to provide representation for us

and Why did you not acknowledge the Trusts letter in the timescales set out in your charter for 2014/15 published on the return to the Ricoh
