There is no good outcome is there? So its pretty pointless saying that its OK if there's a good outcome.

Here's a bad outcome for you. I would say there's more than a good chance that our new landlords ain't happy about it, lets hope it doesn't effect their decision to grant the +2 years on the current deal. Do you think our club could survive another move to Northampton? I don't.

Franchising now seems to be ok amongst our support, even the sky blue trust seem to accept it. Many claimed Wasps moving to Coventry was justified as it stopped them from dying, I presume others would say the same about the cluv they claim to support.

'So I will stick with my line new owners for me would probably be the 'best' thing for CCFC'.

It's the only thing that matters !

Of course new owners would be better but there's hardly going to be queue to buy the club while we are playing a rugby clubs stadium with little chance of being anything other than a yo yo league 1 league 2 club.

Most seemed about the council getting the best deal possible and now our cap doffing support want to make sure we fund Wasps as much as we can do.

I heard lots of people on here saying Franchising is good and defending franchising. You struggle to read a thread without seeing it to be honest.........

Or is that struggle to read a thread without seeing someone suggesting people are saying Franchising is ok and then making out it is a common opinion within 'our support'

Look at the way Wasps have been welcomed on this forum. No one others would put up with it- it's a disgrace.

The club should just be shut down because it seems a minority have its best intereSt's at heart.

Is it? Is it really? I really cant be arsed to count them but I notice more people saying that our fan base have now accepted franchising as OK than I hear fans saying I accept franchising as OK. Its a self fulfilling prophecy that you and others are intent on creating and thats all.

The trust accepting W's are here and trying to move forward with the reality of that is only accepting the situation not justifying that its happened. Why are you trying to make out anythibg else?

And then you're back to your first point so see my first reply.

I went on the Wasps forum to see their take on the legal action and there's more CCFC fans than Wasps fans on the thread. All on there with grovelling apologies about our owners. No matter how bad are owners are why are our fans rushing to apologies to Wasps?

Tenner says a lot of them are people who have a dodgy photoshopped image that says SISU OUT for their Facebook Profile. The same as the guy who wrote NOPM all over his kid's city shirt and got him to wear it who has started the Wasps group thing.

It really is strange. Yes our owners are shocking, but just because one person is a bellend. It doesn't mean others can't be which is what some people struggle with.

No idea- we have the most apathetic fans in the country. They no have ambition and are happy to serve the interests of others. I would expect their to be a campaign to ensure that Wasps receive a fair percentage of our revenues if somehow we ever got any from the ground.

How about this one'

As a die hard CCFC fan of over 65 years standing I apologise . These owners of my beloved football team are an absolute disgrace. Please Wasp fans do not believe that the ordinary supporter of CCFC has any support for those clowns at all. Sure we are disappointed that the football team have lost the stadium that was built for us but the fact that we don't is totally down to the idiots called SISU. All that the fans of CCFC wanted (still want) is an amicable relationship with WASPs but that now seems an unlikely event. And who suffers. Us fans. I just hope that you fellow sports fans will remember us long suffering CCFC supporters. We have no love for SISU. They have ripped the heart out of our club. I hope you all enjoy yourselves on Sunday. have a great day, but please remember us. Thanks

I think SP should be sacked for wanting to go to watch them and wishing Wasps well.
I also think Oggy should be sacked for going.
SP should also be sacked for liking his new dressing room.
Wasps should be picketed for putting up their own sign.
I also think saying all that makes me a great CCFC supporter

Out of interest how many of our 30000 fans have 'rushed' there to apologise?

If it was up to you we'd probably be heading for relegation to the conference with your old mate thorny in charge.

Here's another one;

Agreed with what CSB said.

SISU are yet again trying a last ditch attempt to bully anyone they can! They keep saying they'll build their own stadium. Why don't they stop wasting legal fees and get on with it? (Answer: they have no intention of building one and don't have the resources!)

Hopefully the contracts are tight and all of this doesn't have a negative impact on Wasps, the fans or the attraction of new fans to the club!

Lol. We are heading downwards thanks to your mates, SISU. Who needs Thorny? We don't have a share in the stadium, our owners are back in court and we're playing a team from a place that isn't even on most maps. Wait.... There will be an announcement on the new stadium in the new year ( three weeks ).... You couldn't invent this crap.

Great Grendel. Can you answer the points this groveller made? 1. Why don't they stop wasting legal fees and get on with it? 2. Do you hope that the contracts are tight and they don't have a negative effect on Wasps ( the team our landlords own - thus pissing them off and possibly creating a new "war of attrition" )?

Really depends on what the court battle is and if and how it could benefit the club. If it would benefit the club, then yes I would want them to win. If it would damage the club, then no.

Nick, by now I would have thought that you would recognise that anything SISU do is not for the benefit of our club.

Or people like to try and twist things. Ever thought that? Especially as I can say person 1 is a plonker which translates to some into person 2 is a lovely man.

I asked where these new owners were. Nothing more and nothing less.

It's hard to post on fans forums amongst pro pr guys.

Who are these pro. PR guys?

this is just about building a case against CCC for damages due to the losses CCFC incurred due to them acting as banker.

They have built up substantial paper losses which they will be looking for the court to rule that they are legitimate damages and the council will have to recompense SISU.

Te RICOH is lost to them. This is a commercial position

From a supporters point of view I think the best outcome is one which somehow ends with Wasps moving out and us being offered the same deal but that is hugely unlikely. Maybe the next best option is that SISU get a decent chunk of damages and at that point walk away. Then it would be fingers crossed that someone else will come in, preferably someone who has the first club what they are doing. If that happens then we're looking to make the best of a very bad situation as tenants at the Ricoh.

Dave, this is your money they are after.

The money that goes to mend the road, look after the old , the lollypop ladies, libraries, empty the bins, policing, community projects, school dinners, parks (public places and football facilities) and care in the community etc.....

If they get one penny of that it is the worst result especially given that 1,000 families will lose a wage next year due to government cuts, could you really justify that in name of CCFC?

Well said. There is a clear ethical dimension to this boring SAGA which escapes the notice of the hard of learning.
Pointedly; CCC have obligations which do not include bailing out a badly run FC owned by an off shore bunch of cunts.

Not my money, I don't live in Cov anymore! If a court makes any sort of award to SISU for damages then the blame should be with CCC as it will be because they have done something they shouldn't have, or are we saying CCC should be allowed to do whatever they like irrespective of the legality of it? If SISU lose then CCC will be able to recover costs. If CCC have played it by the book they have nothing to worry about and SISU are wasting everyones time.

You could also say selling a stadium that cost £120m to build and was, according to repeated statements from CCC, performing well and generating a profit for under £6m has deprived the city of money. Unless the value of the naming rights renewal is less than £6m this sale has already cost the city money. Is that acceptable to you?

Once again I come back to the same question, were we offered the same deal that Wasps were given. If we were and SISU turned it down then they should just live with the mess they have created. If it wasn't then CCC only have themselves to blame if it comes back to bite them. I can't see how any fan of the club can justify a better offer being made to a rugby club not based in the city than the cities own football team.

SISU have been terrible for the club and to date all their actions have been questionable, and that's being charitable to them, and this may be the same but that doesn't mean other parties involved should not be subject to scrutiny.
