I'm not sure why people are saying we should get 10 - 15K when it's a weekend when in general FL attendances are poor. We know from the past that a lower ticket prices doesn't lead to a huge jump and it's not like we're 10 games unbeaten or anything like that. If they get 10K they'll be doing very well in my opinion.

Well the rugby club are attracting 30k and they're charging twice as much.

Let's wait and see if they're still getting 30K this time next year when the novelty has worn off.

There's no chance of them averaging that, I would be suprised if the average is over 10K except maybe when they play Saints and Tigers or European games.

3rd Best attendance in the league today. With next to no away fans that's a super effort. Why are people bitching?

Because Sheffield United managed nearly double us with tickets twice the price.

Sheffield Utd clearly have a stronger fan base than us over the last 10 years

Yes, but they do not have a fan base twice the size. Considering the ticketing today I was slightly disappointed, I know there are a million factors into why our crowds are low, but compared to the pricing at most games today ours was incredibly cheap.

It's all to do with the product.
When Fleetwood, whoever they are, show us how to play football it's a poor product.

Disappointed that there wasn't at least 15k there today at those prices.

The last saturday before christmas is always the worst attended games due to expense budget and just having to get stuff done before christmas.

The crowd in that respect was probably better that I would have expected given all the gloom surrounding the club and the opposition not bringing many fans with them.

People are out of the habit and have been for some time, the Sixfields affect is taking it's toll, the only way and it would take time to get them back consistently is the product on the pitch. It is currently the worst I have ever seen, no doubt. No flair, no star, the tactics especially first halves a joke, does tend to improve a bit second half when we are generally chasing the game. Support is earned if we were seriously challenging top end and performing okay at home I think we coud muster 12k+ for home games, the sisu aspect is a by product for not going, as is the Wasp thing. Waggott should at the very least take Pressley to one side and tell him to change tact. One up top for home games just a joke and please don't compare the top teams, such as Arsenal, Chelsea, etc they have goalscorers all over the park.

Not sure if it's the same nowadays lots of shops are open very late some 7 days a week 24 hours a day now compared to years ago and it is still 4 days to go to the big day.

Yet 30k can afford to go to watch a team they have no affinity with today....

Agree with Rupert, our shopping habits have changed 24hour, late night, 7 day a week shopping not to mention a huge percentage of Xmas shopping is done online means that shopping isn't really the excuse.
