How am I not a true fan, because I don't agree with you and your viscious mindset? You have never offered up a shred of proof to back up your allegation that I hate the club etc - I hate the owners and want them driven out for a long term benefit, that's a very different thing and it's a view shared by the majority of fans. I just don't understand why you can't get this into your head.
Wasps playing at the Ricoh is not "spitting in the face of our heritage" - they have bought the stadium legally. SISU had the chance to do the same before they alienated everyone with their illegal rent strike and farcical JR.
You're a spiteful individual who lashes out at anyone who disagrees with your vindictive view of the world.

For me though that photo sums up the last 15 or so years, total lack of respect for our club by board members responsible for running our club, gambling our future, leaving Highfield Road and paying for this ground based on we would stay in the top flight. Council, ACL & telegraph are just as responsible for every single moment leading up to today.

Absolutely staggering that some people seem to be reveling in this. To outsiders it must look like the City of Coventry has given up on Coventry City Football Club. Our future has never been this bleak and some people are having fun with it.
I won't lose any sleep over the fact someone put a Wasps flag in the hand of Jimmy Hill - it's a bit unnecessary, what is shocking is that some supporters of CCFC seemed to quite enjoy the spectacle

Incredible. The language people can summon in condemnation of this foolishness, in stark contrast to the luke-warm criticism they'll direct at the owners of our football club - who have overseen a downward spiral of truly staggering proportions.
I would very much suggest that Jimmy Hill wouldn't be too bothered about a flag being in his hand; compared to the sequence of events at the helm of our once-great club which made the flag placement possible

Why not enjoy a leading sports club coming to the city? And switching off the lights on the vile SISU in the process (that and the latter's self-inflicted JR own goal).
Nobody otuside Coventry really cares, other than Wasps fans. The future of CCFC has nothing to do with Wasps - our status as tenants at the Ricoh remains unchanged.
I just don't see why so many people are pissed off by the Wasps move. Short of a takeover by Byng-Hoffman-Ranson-Elliot, this is the next-best scenario because it keeps the Ricoh out of SISU's hands.

The future of CCFC has everything to do with Wasps - and our status has changed immeasurably. Previously we were tenants with the option of buy the stadium that was built for us (or at least a stake in it), now we are tenants with no prospect of ever owning it. We are to Wasps what they were to Wycombe Wanderers - a situation that was so intolerable for them they had to 'move or die'.
Yet again you show your true colours witn the comment about keeping the Ricoh out of SISU's hands. That was clearly your priority, and you have got your wish, the upshot of which is that we're now stuck with SISU for the foreseeable future because there is absolutely nothing for anyone to buy. But then why worry, you now have your 'leading sports club' to support.

I think a large % is down to where it is AND how it is handled by the club. You tell people "We are moving, deal with it" and people will tell you to piss off. You break your bring to bring every single fan to the new ground and a lot more people will bother if they feel wanted.

The only issue I have with this new stadium is where the "extra" revenue will come from. Say we owed 50% of the Rioch, we have the hotel, casino etc.
A simple 15-18k football stadium with none of the Ricoh facilities, but costs £20-30million to build, I fail to see how it will be viable?
This is all I want to know, show me the viability, and I'll get behind it.

If it is like Sixfields they will have a shed on the side to use for weddings for the attitude of "if people want to get married here they can if they want, not arsed" rather than having somebody trawl facebook for city fans who are engaged to say "woweeee look at this, come and get married here, we will give you everything, sky blue sam will come and a photo with some of the players" etc.
(Not that I think they will, just an example of the poor PR)

Think SISU need to clearly show financial projections for if we stay at the Ricoh as tenants against building a new ground.
I had a look at Bournemouth's ground today and when they totally rebuilt it cost under £10m (after adjusting for inflation) for a 12K ground. If that's the sort of figure we're looking at then maybe it becomes viable?
No, any move would have to be within the city (or at worst an edge of town site) for it to be viable. The talk of Bermuda Park is worrying, but I keep hearing about a site next to Coventry Airport so who knows.

Let's take your average London business man/woman who has a meeting in Coventry (I know, bear with me) one day, then Manchester the next. Do I stay at a football stadium with no links to motorway etc, or do I stay at the Ricoh, get on the M6 the next day easily.
I just can't see this 365 day revenue coming in other than the 23 match days

If it was Bermuda, it is pretty much next to the Motorway also but yeah, it comes down to how they market / run the place. They could build a stadium twice as big as the Ricoh but with their PR that has been shown so far it wouldn't do much anyway.
Even things like Kids Birthday parties, nothing like that at the Ricoh for young cov fans.

One more question, this new stadium has been quoted as 20-30 million. who do you believe will be paying this bill? Not just you specifically Nick, anyone reading this.
And how long would it take to recoup this money plus the other money SISU have "invested" in CCFC? (60 million or so)
