So 17 weeks after the break in at the shop there is still little or no stock?

Surely as a matter of business they would have reorder levels etc and would have placed an order for Xmas stock some time in August given such lead times before the break in?. Surely they didn't buy a whole seasons stock in one go?

There is no need to produce or agree designs those will already be with the suppliers you would think?

Never mind about shipping in by sea as part of a larger container what about air freight in an "urgent" situation?

Doubt the club would even have to pay for the stock or any associated costs - wouldn't the insurance pick up the tab?

There are always round it.

what has happened to all this stock that was nicked - because it is a limited market for any stolen goods especially for CCFC branded goods?. Has anyone been caught and charged?

It's poor, isn't it. Anyone involved in business knows how hard it is to make sales even when you've got everything right - to have people wanting to buy things but not have the stock in place is just about criminal.

My gut feel is that like a lot of hedge funds, SISU took a battering in 2007/08, and have been on the ropes ever since. OSB, I don't know if the books can prove or disprove this, but it seems to me that this is when they started to change tack in terms of investing for success, and suddenly started to look at running the club on a shoestring (and perhaps leveraging the arena as a get out).

I don't know what Mr Fisher thinks - but the bottom of the cycle seems to get lower and lower with every week that passes. How much further can we fall?

As worrying as anything about the future of the club, if they can't afford to restock for a captive market.

Oh I think we can fall a lot further in fact I'm sure we can.

I was hoping that a few of the missing items would turn up for sale in one of the less salubrious local pubs I frequent but no such luck.

If they wanted to get the stock or could afford to buy it they could have got it in easily there are loads of places that could have made it locally or in the UK they would have made a bit less but it would be better than nothing. I wanted 3 shirts for my kids but they are not having white ones and the home shirt doesn't look great so will wait for next season's kit to come out just before Xmas next year. As for Scope and the marketing types they must be wearing a mask when they collect their wages as it is daylight robbery!

Was down at the Academy yesterday and it seems they have had lads who signed weeks/months ago who are still waiting for gear from the club shop. I think somebody is hiding something.

I tried to order kit for my 8 year old son. All that was left in the tops was aged 5-6 years. Was going to drive to the store tonight in case they may have had stock at the store but after reading this I shan't bother.
That is at least £50.00 that the club have missed out on from myself. Can't imagine how much they will have lost altogether.

All Sisu do is moan about lack of income from pies etc and here they have a load of people who are trying to give them money and they have no stock. What a total shambles it is time for Waggot to go and take the rest of the idiots with him.

It was time to go the minute these arseholes moved us to Northampton.

The day they do fuck off will be up there with Wembley, WHL 97 and beating the great Liverpool 4-0, as one of the happiest days of my life following City.

I was going to get my nephew a full kit.

He is now getting Barcelona stuff instead :(
Nike have just made a small fortune out of me. There is a lot of money not getting made here by the sounds of it.

Considering the carnage that has been caused over gaining access to 'revenues' everyday of the year. I find it little short of incredible that the one area where do have full control of access to revenues everyday of the year. We screw it up big-time.

I had this problem my little un wanted a Cov City bedroom, it is now Barca. Couldn't get nothing for his bedroom. I think that the problem is that you have to pay up front for your merchandise. With a credit rating like we have, would you supply SISU with 10 Grands worth of credit? I wouldn't

Maybe we add up what we probably would have spent in the shop over xmas and send it over to Mr fisher, I have his working email, my guess it would be thousands as a replica shirt on its own is £35? I guess a few of you have kids you would have spent a small fortune on in there. Instead people are buying kits for the kids of other clubs. They could miss another generation of fans!

Mr Fisher couldn't give a flying fuck though, mate, so why bother?

I guess that I would have spent between £150 and £200 in there on kits and bits for my dad, but never mind the kids can have what they want now instead of what I wanted to get them!

Who says they don't listen to fans?

In response to recent criticism about lack of stock and merchandise in the club shop, the club have moved quickly to rectify this.

If it's anything like our defence I'd want a refund as it'll clear f**k all.

Coventry City are today promoting branded screenwash but are out of home shirts. A new merch low, even for us!

Well that explains why Tim was quite for so long. Someone obviously put a sample on his desk for approval and he just couldn't stop staring at it.

It's the wrong colour .

I prefer my screen wash Skyblue.

Looks suspiciously like rebranded Leicester City Screen wash to me .

Even if Puma can't supply shirts, which I find hard to believe, it can't be hard to find some random Puma stuff that's blue and stick our badge on it. Or even non Puma stuff. Suggests a cashflow / credit problem to me. To be fair I'd want cash up front off SISU!

I didn't get the email, heard something at the game about somebody sponsoring it to do with energy partners though.
