Balanced enough to say I can understand Wasps nipping into the Ricoh in their situation - don't like it, but blame SISU for not making an offer or trying to rebuild relationships ( e.g. By dropping the JR ) and I can equally say, I can understand, that if - if- it is not possible to get a decent deal or merger or whatever for the Ricoh, that Tim has no choice but to go to Nuneaton. Some on here detest one move as " just wrong " and the other is " only a couple of miles " etc. That is not balance, that is pure hypocracy.

I agree with a lot of what he said. Neutrals are more interested to see how the Wasps move went. Wasps did the pr, sold their idea to 28000 paying and freebie customers. People had a good day out. I have seen the pictures... It looked great - yes, it should have been us - but we are building our own stadium and have a jr to finish off. The comparison that I would have made, to be fair, - would have been a picture of CCFC's first match after their move to Northampton ( a similar situation ).

So you hold no blame for ACL, ccc, higgs or wasps? You've done nothing but defend them since the move.

I think there's a big difference between a move to nuneaton than wasps move to Coventry. It's not hypocrisy at all. I haven't made my mind up, but to me it's completely different.

I find that a very odd stance to take. If SISU came out and clearly evidenced that it is the only option for the survival of the club and the new stadium will be as close as possible to the city boundary why would supporters refuse to go. Just seems odd to me.

I don't think people would necessarily refuse on principle. Just couldn't be arsed after all that has gone on and go do something else on a Saturday. The stadium ( if it ever takes place ) won't be finished for years. In the meantime we plod along as tenants of a rugby club in the lower leagues. I think the fan base will dwindle anyway and the downscaling will finally confirm the lack of ambition. The gates will drop even further.

I must be missing something as I'm not seeing anything that says SISU were offered the same deal as Wasps. I see Fisher saying they didn't want that offer, which may be true or may be him saving face with a touch of revisionist history but nothing to say it was actually offered.

as i said earlier, the damage has been done for a lot of people. Supporters of many years no longer feel what they once did for ccfc, and no amount of pr will repair that.

For all the issues with wasps/ccc/acl, the club has been destroyed on sisu's watch with seppala and fisher the common denominators. Until they've gone recovery will be near impossible imo.

What is defending Wasps? Yes they are here and we should be at least trying to do a long term deal - is that defending Wasps? I can understand why they are here - and could see the same if CCFC had to move to Nuneaton - is that defending wasps ? Wasps have gone about things in the right way. Read the press reports, look at the pictures, look at the attendance. It is fact - is that defending Wasps? Anyone who dares to see that SISU has royally screwed up is defending Wasps and the council. As for CCC, putting them under scrutiny, smoking guns, sensitive documents, jr etc. etc. - put them in a position where they just wanted out. What exactly happened, neither you or I know, but I would say that as it was unanimous and having been briefed by legal experts - and knowing full well that SISU were waiting with their army of lawyers - that CCC will have some good answers ready for when the jr is over. But I am open minded on the council until we know more. It has been posted on here and tweeted by Conn, that Tim didn't want the deal because of the loan that had to be repaid ( ok, out of day to day income ). Tim also says he is definitely building a stadium ( confirmed by RFC ). So why should the council sit and wait for someone else to come along, running a company basically to pay themselves a loan back. That is not their remit.

Attacking? Seriously? Somebody posts something as bad as that and people pick up on it shocker. Apparently trust people won't post on here, it looks as if it's because when they post crazy stuff like that it doesn't get straight out agreed with and defended to the death no matter what.

I think more people get annoyed by people such as Jan who throw the sad and selfish comments about, while saying they don't give a fuck about how wasps fans are treated while he goes to wasps games?

Have you seen anybody giving wasps fans abuse for traveling up? Any scab type stuff?

I never agreed with scab comments I found it bizzare. I just felt if no Cov fans attended we had a better chance if coming back quicker. Short term pain long term gain.

I agree with him the football has become very dower with the system we play. We do not create chances. Worryingly we then get told we are creating but not finishing.

I do feel ACL was there to be bought recently.

I felt for SISU however it would be like losing £20 quid and finding £10. We all know the £10 was better than what we have now (nothing). I think they felt £15-20 was possible again. Whereas Wasps came along and said I am happy with finding a tenner.

I don't think SISU would have done the £10 deal.

They had some plan that involved getting the Freehold and having absolutely no tie in the CCC.

So yes whatever went in before I firmly believe that in Oct when Anne made her statement there was a clear chance to buy ACL.

SISU refuse to bid and say they would not have done the deal Wasps did. So yes I firmly blame SISU for that.

I have no interest in Wasps. I don't like fans losing their home team. I agree with Jan the RFC need to sort that out.

I agree with Jan the only way CCFC can survive now is to sort out the cheapest rent deal they can get. With as much revenue access as they can get. Doing a partnership in an areas we have a common interest. To reduce costs.

If he says he didn't want it. He is building a stadium. He doesn't bluff, he doesn't posture. He has not made a song and dance about Wasps being there. He has actually been rather quiet since they arrived. I would say nobody under those circumstances would bother offering him anything anyway.

So it appears that SISU are more than happy to spend millions on taking us into administration (they put up a front, made demands - & their bluff was called) & continuing legal fees...They could've just stumped up the money & bought the stadium almost 2 yrs ago. So you wouldn't have said how much you don't care about another teams fans because they are not ccfc to then go on and use You don't oppose moving to Nuneaton even if it might kill another team and its not in Coventry?. Surely the first sentence kind of blows that point out of the water no?
