And when they get to the invisible line they usually pass sideways or backwards!
Exactly, I have even see them sort of run forward with the ball with nobody around them but then stop to play it backwards.

What did Pressley have to say?

so thats in the coaching, haynes used to take his man on now the fear of God has been put into him not to...
So why aren't they doing it? Either the players aren't good enough - SP signed them; the players aren't doing what they are told - discipline problem SP can't sole; it's what they are told to do - SP's fault or they can't be bother - SP can't motivate them. I can't see a cause where the blame, at least a good chunk of it, doesn't rest with SP.
how dare you blame our beloved owners, none of this is their faulti think the blame lies with players and SP, but even more so with SISU..they ultimately brought them all in and have consistently sold anyone who was any good at the first opportunity presented to them.

Well if Pressley and Waggott are to be believed we have one of the higher budgets in the league. Pressley also said at the forum earlier in the season that players in and out were up to him so its hard to shift the blame elsewhere. I know budget isn't everything but if we have one of the higher budgets to my mind we should be, at the very least, pushing the play off places.
So has he purchased the wrong players or is it that he doesn't know what to do with them once he signs them, either way it has to come down to him. It's not like he's on the radio every week saying the players aren't doing what he's telling them to do. The lack of substitutions until lit's too late also gives an indication that he's happy with what he's seeing.
Well he must have listened to some of the fans on here who said that Callum Wilson was a one season wonder and that Carl Baker was rubbish.
Oh if we just had them 2 in the team now:thinking about:
Baker was a complete fuck up that took us a notch below a selling club. Wilson was always going to go. It just makes me laugh thinking of the "experts" on here saying he could be a one season wonder when anyone who knows anything about football could see that not only was he not a one season wonder he was always going to make the step up.

Wilson may well have always been going but they let him go to easily / cheaply for my liking. What are the odds that there's no clauses that give us a payment if he scores a shedload of goals or gets them promoted to the prem.
Yes they were short sighted all they could see were the $ signs.
So if he had kept it up this season for us we could have got promoted and still have sold him in the close season for triple what we got.
So why didn't we get promoted when we had both Wilson and Baker?

But we were 23 points behind the play off places? I could understand if we were 8 or 9, or 11 or 12.
It worked ok last season with Baker and Moussa providing from the wide areas. To be fair though, Jennings and Bailey were both pretty defensive, but they did allow sheff, Moussa and baker to get up and support McGoldrick.

Just read that Pressley said
“The statistics tell you we need to boost our attack in the New Year and I’m not talking about a striker I’m talking about a creative player – somebody who can eliminate players in the final third and make a difference" :claping hands:
has it really taken him until now to realise this?

I don't like his tactics. I like him as person
I think you have to live and die by your decisions. As long as you have been given time and that they are your decisions.
I think if the Baker decision was soley his then that one alone in our current plight could lose you your job.
Also Adams should be here competing with Haynes.
If it was a decision taken over his head then above him needs to also live and die by their decisions.
For me as I have said so many times it seems simple
Experienced Goalie to calm the defence
Jordan back to play as a right back in a
4-4-2. Competing with Phillips.
Martin and Reda as CB Willis and Webster as back up
Haynes Left back (Reda back up)
We need two wingers
We need an influential no shit CM
JOB and Fkeck competing for the creative midfielder role.
Madine upfront supported by a pacey striker.
So we need to sign 7 players and release the following to sign the replacements
Allsop
Pennington (nothing against him but we have our own)
Hines
Tudguy
Jackson
Noble
Barton
Keep Conor, Maddison, Swanson Finchas squad players.
If we keep playing wing backs or this one up front system we are screwed.
