it's been mentioned before on here how he has an allegiance to ccfc and can kind of understand it after reading how the youth team coaches had taken him under thier wing - if Sisu do have plans to sell him before his contract expires in 2014 i hope bigi has a say in it as i imagine he wants to see cov do well as well as his own career

Surely you're not naïve enough to believe that there won't be interest in him which could turn into offers in January? We've already heard that the Premiership's big guns have had scouts watching him.

It wasn't supposed to be an attack on SISU, more a comment on how I feel what happens to Bigi could speak volumes about how serious they are about taking our club forward.

We'll wait and see. Until then though nobody knows what their plans are for our club because they won't tell us. So forgive me for speculating...

Yes. Our academy is having to fill in for our first team as it is so these are worrying times.

While I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't strip our squad for everything it was worth in August, I still don't like the idea of them constantly chopping and changing purely for the sake of short-term monetary gain.

I don't want them selling Bigi for a derisory amount and bringing in any old player as a 'replacement'. We could have got far more for Ben Turner and should definitely be looking into the millions for Bigi further down the line.

Following on from this morning's heartwarming article...

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/co...-city-s-midfield-star-gallery-92746-29378273/

Do we think SISU will sell at the first opportunity or do we think they'll hold out for bigger offers later down the line?

This could tell us a lot about how long SISU are planning to hang around at CCFC...

"Will Sisu sell Bigirimana"?
Come on, catch up, I'd say its a nailed on certainty, Wouldn't you? Its obvious to anyone who recognises a Talent that this lad is special, and will no doubt be wearing a Premiership shirt before much longer.
The name Bigirimana, will be pulsing through the Premiership scouting grapevine, as one of hottest properties arround at the moment, and its not a question of "will he go", rather more, "where will he go".
The Premier scouts, will be here on saturday, running the rule over this certain star of the future, a naturally gifted athlete, with amazingly quick feet, and a mental alertness to match.
Lets hope that sisu hold their nerve for a change, and hold out for a realistic Offer that reflects this Boys true value.
"will we keep him"....Your'e avvin a Larf"
P.S..this post is my view, as see it, just my opinion,
And is "not a wind up"for the more sensitive souls amongst us, ...Of which there are plenty.
"Yaaawl Have a nice day now"

I can't recall any player being here from acadamy till retirement, so he will most likely be sold at some point.

Unless he is appointed our franchise player :thinking about:

like I said on another thread people are obsessed turning posts into pro or anti sisu. Sometimes its just an opinion, starting to do my head in

At the risk of turning this into another SISU out/in thread...I first suspected that the board were going to renege on their promise to reinforce and replace the departed when Brody (The Shareholder?) started to mention "..sign a franchise player..or grow our own". Which is of course very convenient, as they are on low wages and cost no transfer fee

Having seen the lad in preseason, I thought he may be up to the job of being our star man after all. But the reality is that for all his promise, he should be one of 4-5 players competing for the 3 deeper CM roles, not an automatic choice every week because there's no-one else. No 17 year old can be expected to walk into a Championship side and be the star man. He is incredibly gifted and an asset to the squad, but has plenty to learn yet, particularly in terms of positioning and decision making, does make mistakes (like all youngsters) and needs taking out of the side from time to time.

Gael will never leave the club under his own accord. he loves playing for the club and is a church goer. level headed boy who will become a coventry legend.

Don't you think he'd love playing for Chealsea, Man utd, or Arsenal too,

Tankie the boy is different to most young footballers my girl went school with him, hes a quiet lad who loves the club and apprciates his chance. shes on his facebook and i had a butchers, near enough all his posts are about god. most 17 year olds in the past weve had (Thornton, Pipe, Fowler, Jephcott) show off drinking up town, hes complete opposite. i doubt he'll leave on his own accord but whether he gets pushed for a decent amount only time will tell

What's happened to you tankie you used to be Pretty positive over on the telegraph board, since the summer youve been on a downer

Hi Stevo :claping hands:
I have a disinct lack of the feel good factor regarding the Sky blues, and the way its being run.
nothing that ten wins on the bounce won't cure though.
Regarding the telegraph, Forum, I sill feel angry and let down by the way it was shut down, in a rather calous way under the guise of "Down for Maintainance Back Soon" Smithers let "The family" down, I call it the family, because thats how it felt.
Positives, how about...Bigirimana to sign a ten year deal.
Sky blues to make the play offs.
Nice to speak to you Stevo..

Thats fair enough, hopefully a win against derby will start the flow of positivity within the club, a couple of decent loanees would also help!

That was a pretty rubbbish way to close out a forum the telegraph are rapidly going down in my estimation, although there have been a couple of decent articles this week so maybe they will turn the corner and become a good source for CCFC news etc

Tankie,

Ditto what you said about the telegraph forum. I felt extremely let down when it closed.

I get the feeling there was a lot to it, especially in the way many forums go with excessive trolling, wind up merchants, and slanderous comments. I think it became too much for them, and for Trinty Mirror, who felt the cost just want worth it. Its interesting to see they have closed a few other forums on their papers, including last month the blues and Villa one on the B'Ham mail.

It was a family though and it was good, say hello to Fred if you hear from him and perhaps get him on here.

PS) I also feel the apathy and lack of sparkle re CCFC that seems to have hit you.

Hello Moff,
Its good to hear a familiar name, I wish I could contact Fred,
I really miss him, but I havn't a clue how to,Bootsie too, and loads more, Torchy pops his head up every so often, i expect youve noticed, i think he may be a little homesick too.
But this forum has its stars too and its good to post on it.
Warmest....Tank top..

There seems to be a swing back in favour of SISU on this forum and I can't understand why.

These ruthless to$$ers would sell Bigi at the first opportunity. I'm praying the Hoff comes back with an offer they can't refuse as he knows we need a hero like Bigi - who won't just piss off for a pay rise.

This lad has all the potential to be a City legend.

Like I said in another thread, what happens to Bigi will tell you all you need to know about how long SISU plan to stick around.
