So, as he is making me as dizzy as when some of ML's articles came out I just wondered if he had forgotten about his Q and A on Twitter in October which went:

To which he replied:

Today's statement from Maton doesn't really say anything new. He's not saying they would get support and assistance from CCC just that the wouldn't be able to block it as an appeal would go over their heads, which we already knew. Doesn't mean they will support it, they could make life as difficult as possible and delay things.

If he really meant it he would asking SISU to contact him and saying CCC will do anything they can to help find a new site and keep the club in the city.

Doesn't deal with hedge funds but does deal with Derek Richardson and his myriad of businesses registered in Malta, says a deal is there to be done on ownership whilst selling to Wasps behind closed doors, etc etc.

Why did he not just give them a call and say "look fellas, what do you think about this land, we will treat you as we would anybody else". It would be down to the planning committee, to begin with. If they refused then it could be appealed to central government.

The council cares more about covering it's own arse than the city's sports clubs. Lucas' picture with the Wasps players sums that up quite well.

So if he is in the planning part of the council, I am pretty sure he will know how Central Government works and the way they think with appeals? He will also know what the residents in certain areas think to see if they would want to get it blocked? What about the highways people? The roads round there are terrible as it is at rush hour, how will it be with 15,000 (optimistic I know) coming out?
