Sisu have no cash to buy players, stock or anything for that matter

What are the odds they've been told to pay for everything up front? Maybe the SBT could approach the club for a statement on why there is so little in the club stock and if they blame it on Puma the trust can contact them and see if they say the same.

I take it either your reading or listening is very limited, as previously reported in the press & radio the lead time for ordering additional stock is between 20 & 30 weeks.

Makes it difficult also when you've had a break-in?

Guess you also forgot we were playing in Northampton so demand would have been more limited, Coventry return at that stage wasn't planned for.

I work in retail and yes you're correct there is a lead time for ordering stock - not as long as you quote but there is a lead time. Also I agree that having high levels of stock can be a problem especially if the the stock is time limited. However whilst that's true what apart from the Christmas jumpers etc., annuals and replica kit is there that has a best before date on? What couldn't they have ordered stock in advance and kept in storage until sold? We had the shop at the Gallagher before we returned from our holiday in Northampton didn't we?

not sure why people keep asking where the wilson, clarke and arsenal money has gone - its quite clearly gone towards operating costs/losses from last season, just like bigi, keogh, gunnar/turner payments, tottenham and arsenal cup ties, etc went on funding operating costs/losses in the 2012/13 season.

Next season with no 3 million player to sell?

Indeed. There's always the airfreight option too which knocks a couple or three weeks off.

We had to look at airfreight for something and the price was broadly similar to other methods of getting something delivered.

It's odd that none of the stolen stock seems to have turned up anywhere. It's not like it's Man Utd stuff they can offload anywhere.

Important question, does Juggy have big ears? If not why's he called Juggy, can't be his real name!

Stolen to order for an obese crime godfather for his obese family who are CCFC fans. ;) or something like that.

Stop talking rubbish. The club tweeted me saying that the turn around was 16 weeks (this is also is rubbish as I was told by Puma myself that they could do various amounts of each item in 6 weeks) and due to the break in they are waiting for more to arrive. What they didn't realise was that on the day the tweet was sent the break in was exactly 17 weeks before.

Plus as someone else said on here, the Christmas stock wouldn't be there surely?!

I have to say this seems similar to when the Blaze were in the s**t (a sponsor failed to pay). Jersey orders were taking a long time and it was all down to cashflow. The owners were honest and asked for help. People (myself included) appreciated the honesty, took time off work to help them get the club back on the straight and narrow.

Why was Coventry's return not planned for Tim?

The bit about stocking the club shop up before Xmas sums them up for me.

"Three words sum up our owners – seven wasted years. These ‘businessmen’ seem to lack the acumen to even stock a club shop at Christmas, so perhaps we shouldn’t expect too much."

Why don't they just install a computer in the shop so we can go in and order Coventry stuff off of eBay. They could charge a fee for use of the computer.
