The idea of a protest voicing our discontent with SISU is a valid one, unfortunately it is somewhat spoilt by the implementation.
While Nick may have excessively made the point re timings, it is a fair one. Surely a pivotal factor in an organised protest is ensuring participants know when to protest! I am sure we can all provide an answer (wear a watch, set up a timer on your phone) however shouldn't the organisers provide this in order to establish consistency. Equally, what is the situation with the cards; will they be placed on seats? Are people expected to print there own? Will there be a universal card/sign created and uploaded onto here so all fans are projecting the same message? Both may be questions that delve into detail, but in this instance justifiably so.
Again, this point has been raised previously but what are the expected outcomes and next steps? Granted the long term objective of the protesters is 'SISU OUT' but what about short term? SISU are not just going to leave the Tuesday after the protest (or unfortunately at all) but what would be an acceptable quick win following the protest? What are the next steps? Is this a one off protest, a few minutes of fame and gratitude for the organisers and then.....?? What is next? If this protest does generate momentum what is the plan or next action/event?
While I am sure most fans want to voice there annoyance and frustration (in some cases stronger emotions) at the way we have been treated as fans, the lack of transparency, the poor communication etc etc, based on the opening statement of this thread, I am not sure the people behind this protest are the ones to lead us through.
Perhaps by answering the questions posed within this thread, outlining the long term strategy, informing us who is really behind the campaign (there must be a reason this protest push is randomly now), that may change.
