I rate him and I'm delighted he's staying. We need more continuity as a club, we need to keep hold of lads who have been around a while making over 100 appearances and build an understanding of the club.

He's only 23 and it's easy to forget that, I think there's a lot more development to come.

Not too bothered, but nice to see the club making an effort.

Its a good move aslong as that doesnt hamper us making other valuable signings/extensions. For me, unless he starts hitting the potential and ability he clearly has, then thats money best spent elsewhere.

At least we'll have one player here next season! I think the biggest problem with Fleck is we haven't found the right player to partner with him. Most of the time he ends up with Thomas and I don't think they really fit together.

With a new contract comes a pay rise and in my opinion whatever we were paying him was too much.
Hopefully he turns in some better performances every week now and not just when he feels like it

I don't mind Fleck decent player, but i'm not sure i have seen much of the desire to win SP talks about in his game. If the team struggle's he doesn't seem the type that can drag them up, he tends to fade and blend into the game rather than grabbing it which his talent should really allow him to do..

I think it's a decent signing on more than a couple of level's, so onto the next....

Brilliant news. Easily one of our better players and on his day is brilliant.

Yes good positive news but some on here will still find something to moan about and most probably blame the owners. PUSB!

I think when it comes to contracts and players the owners are the only ones to blame or give credit where its due,,, with Fleck it's an ok move....

Not so sure why we're getting so excited.
Would love to know the stats where his goals/assists are concerned, both this season and overall.
Isn't he part of this piss poor midfield we have?

Very surprised but pleased when I read he had signed as I was convinced he'd want to leave. I'd prefer him to be a bit more attacking rather than defensive mid though.

More players staying than going so that's something to build on and it's positive for a change. A couple of quality signings to add to the squad and strengthen and the second half of the season can be a decent one. But we do need some quality or mid table is where I reckon we'll finish.

Is fleck staying because there is a lack of interest elsewhere, I''m not too excited think he has been a disappointment and i'm surprised how many other fans think he is so crucial. I was not a big Michael Doyle fan but I would have him in preference to Fleck. Doyle was a better tackler covered more ground and helps explain why he scored much more goals and had the ability to beat a player. Although Fleck can pass it better most of his passes are short passes within our own half. Hope he comes good but after 100 games not holding my breath

Fleck has some ability and still has the potential to develop aged only 23. If we are going to start building a team we need to start seeing some retention and continuity amongst the better players. This is good news about Fleck. I would still like to see us sign a good DM and another creative CM, for more competition and hopefully improve the current line up.
