Quite a few held up the sheets and then a lot of them become paper airplanes. This kind of backfired on the second half protest when only a few still had them to hold up, but some of those planes really caught the air beautifully which was easily the highlight of the game.

Whether you agree with protests or not, the fact that so many can no longer be arsed to protest about anything is a very worrying sign.

Your right mate and that's why it would be so easy for it to just disappear which is scary as fuck

i have no issue with protesting vs sisu though do i? none at all, they have been poor owners.

i simply pointed out that some of the sisu hating protesters are council loving wasps fans. some, not all.

and the ticket revenue could help ccfc, i think of it as a football fan, you cant shake your anti sisu hatred at all and thus no longer have room in your heart for ccfc. such a shame.
While your here - how are the two big centre halves getting on. The two clueless tossers i watched tonight I mean. Perhaps you think they are ok. Go back any further they could sit with me. Too slow and useless with it.

Agree with what you say and add Cardiff to the list as they are reverting to there original blue colour kit. i wonder why that is?

Ask yourself if their trust would cosy up to a franchise rugby club playing in their purpose built stadium. Would their fans also go and watch said franchise club?

We are a long way from their passion and their example.

I agree but when you have owners like sisu and a council who seemed to do all they could to destroy the club, what is the point? The supposed fans leaders cosy up to a franchise rugby club and sections of our support now seem to support them too. Exactly what is the point?

FFS you are obsessed with wasps it is all you go on about get over it, they did what your beloved sisu had the chance to do for years but they did it in months yet that will be the councils fault that sisu decided to try and bankrupt ACL and get the stadium for nothing

Grow up and get real

Why do you constantly talk like the trust are some how to blame for the clubs down fall?

They aren't but it sums the club up perfectly. Talk of protests about forcing sisu out are long gone now, that ship has already sailed. It is now too late for the club to recover and reach the levels we all hope and expect.

Hatred of sisu has clouded the judgement of many and there is even a perverse acceptance of wasps. We will end up playing second fiddle to them in our own city and some seemed to be happy about it as it is more ammunition against sisu.

There are a number of parties responsible for what happend.

i'd say about 20-25% held up the banners on the 7th minute of the first half, and about 2% on the 12th minute of the secondhalf

Lack of desire to protest, acceptance of Wasps, and low attendances are all caused by just one party.

And its those things that will kill the club.

All parties may have done things wrong, but only one party is responsible.

What a crock of shit.

The only party that sum's the club up is that party this has been steering the ship for a last seven years, SISU.

The buck stops with them but there's a weird perversion by some that blame anyone and everyone one but SISU and then think they have that angle covered by saying something like "I know SISU carry the majority of the blame but...". Well clearly they don't, otherwise they'd be talking about SISU's blame the majority of the time.

It summed up that most people turn to watch football and are completely bored of pointless protests derived by self appointed fans' leaders.

Football ?
Can I ask you what you are doing to change things ? Other than your constant barracking of fellow fans that helps no one.

He is entitled to his opinion Italia as are you. You could equally ask how all your posts on welcoming Wasps, going to see them, etc etc has also helped the cause.

The point Fernando is making is that SISU are entrenched and so far protesting hasnt made a jot of difference to their decision making, and so people grow tired of it...

And by people with appalling grammar! Jesus, if they want to be taken seriously then at least have some professionalism with your press releases!

1.Thank you for every one that made the protest a big success last night , sadly there was 1% of fans that wanted us to fail and actually
2. Believe it was a fail because we didn't have 32,000 fans in there ,our job was to get the majority of fans attending to join the protest
3. As well as gain the media attention and distribute 4,500 red 'Go' signs and that is exactly what we done ! we already have more fans than
4. Sisu and that will only continue to work in our favour until there is change ! on the pitch we were poor and 2nd best and that's what
5. Happends when you continue to sell your best players and replace them with free transfers and loans , it's time to go SISU #Go

Then the statement...

The SISU Out campaign group have said that their protest at Coventry City's 3-0 defeat to Swindon Town was a success. The group has issued the following statement on its Facebook page.
"Wow there's actually a hand full of sad people that are buzzing at giving us stick tonight saying what a shit protest when 90% of them were not even in the ground. Unbelievable that you even have the cheek to pop up and have a go.
"We are a very small group of fans that had more of an effect then most and had national and local news teams and media in place to cover the protest.
"And the ones that say this wasn't a success didn't even turn up ! This was a success , we knew there was only 5000 , so we don't understand the point ????
"What do you expect us to do pay for 32,000 people to get in ?

"We done everything anyone could do and distributed 4,500 'go' signs aswell as put sisu in the spotlight and spend our own time an money ,yet there's still a very small hand full of fans trying to take the piss out of us for standing up and being counted !
"Give yourselfs a big pat on the back."

Maybe people say things because of the bullshit and spin before the game? The 90% figure thrown about, the made up consortiums, the spending 18 hours a day arranging it. Again, keep it simple and to the the point.

Where has anybody ever said they expect them to pay for 32,000 to get in?

More blind hatred without actually speaking or thinking about sense.

Errr....90% you say.....so foolish just to make up such ridiculous claims prior to the game/protest.....totally discredits the "organisers".....

Exactly, why say it?

When you start bigging things up like that it looks like a failure.

Whereas when it is worded like

"We have no idea how many people will join in, we hope as many as possible and would be grateful to any fan who joins us"

Rather than:

"We have been working 18 hours a day on this, we have met lots of fans groups to discuss it, 90% of the ground will be protesting, there are consortiums interested (fact)"

It is yet again more bullshit they are coming out with to stir up the hate, there is enough reason to hate. Just keep it to the facts, some people can clearly see they are bullshitting / spinning / over exaggerating and incorrect with some of the stuff they put out and their statements.

It is either a young 13 or 14 year old lad who is trying their hardest or it is somebody taking the piss.

Because they were in the wrong place.

They should have all bought tickets for Block 1 and 2 is it and done it there directly in front.

Everybody knows where the cameras go and what they see.

Watching it back this morning, the SISU out sign held up at the front of the family stand is shown the most.

This is so true !! The camera position meant that there was almost no visual impact although on TV you could hear the fans chants quite clearly. The commentators did give it a brief mention in between waxing lyrical over a decent Swindon team performance. Fair play to those who are at least trying to raise awareness of our continued plight, I won't knock them even if I think it will do no good whilst SISU continue to operate just within the boundaries of what is expected of them.

They need a proofreader, who will hopefully advise them to avoid percentages in all future correspondence.

You hear him say something about fans showing they arent happy with the ownership situation or something like that and do hear chants. You can't see a red card though (unless I missed it)

If block 15 / 16 had taken over opposite, it would have been in direct view. But hey, let's not interfere.

If you claim ahead of the protest you have 90% support and then don't get that on what basis can you claim success? Using your own metrics your protest has not reached the expected level of support.

As for claiming press coverage besides a mention in the CT what is there? No body watching Sky would have been thinking there's a huge protest going on. Where's the other press coverage they are talking about?
