An open letter to Steven Pressley from a Coventry City supporter based in China. An open letter to Steven Pressley.
Can you stop trotting out the same platitudes after yet another pathetic display by your team. "That kind of performance" is the performance of your team, the team you trained, gave tactics to, managed from the technical area, and the team you are supposed to inspire.
This means that it is you that, at the moment, is seen as "simply not good enough" by many people.
Whilst I know that you are under tremendous constraints from the owners, if it is these constraints that are making you a 'bad' manager perhaps it is time to stand up to them.
If I am naffed off with getting out of bed, and tuning in on the internet from China to listen to the garbage being dished up, how must it be for all those loyal supporters that travel the country to watch your "not good enough."?
Despite everything, we all do care.

Do they think he will read it, if he does he will take no interest what so ever anyway

Got to be worth a go though glen. Better than nothing and doesn't look good when fisher will see it. He sees everything.

My only criticism to the letter is he doesn't explain what the solution is. Merely questions thkngs but where is the solution?

This trend of issuing open letters is really helping.

How many matches has the author of this letter actually attended this season?

Open letter?

If I was SP I would be straight on to Royal Mail. That's not acceptable at all, especially if it was marked private and confidential.

I received an "open" letter from royal mail once. They said the mail sack had fallen out on the train line and been partially run over, hence they re-packaged my letter and sent it on to me. Very Kind of them .

Except...the envelope they had re-packaged it in had the identical "cut" across it that the original one did....... possibly a train wheel, or... a blunt guillotine..

I was grateful that a letter marked private and confidential from my bank was so carefully looked after...

Pressley has just signed a 4 year contract, its doubtful anyone else will be in a rush to give him a job so why would he leave.

At the same time SISU will not fancy paying out compensation to someone doing a very good impression of a yes man.

Probably would have been the first to get the bed sheets out if he had gone to Huddersfield though?

Lucky him then I keep wasting my money every week while they sell all our best players so they can play in court.
Mind you not much better at that.
