Steven Pressley (26 Dec 2014):

“The statistics tell you we need to boost our attack in the New Year and I’m not talking about a striker I’m talking about a creative player – somebody who can eliminate players in the final third and make a difference.

“At times today young James showed those flashes but I think we need somebody else in the building who can do that and turn our domination of the ball into good chances.

I hope the solution to this was/isn't signing Nouble then playing out of position for the remainder of the season...

Seppala: Are you really going to let that idiot loose in the Transfer market again Steven?
Waggott: Hmmm... I'll stop taking his calls and see how the January results go.
Seppala: Good call... oh and draw up a list of replacements please Steven.
Waggott: Yes M'Lady.

Does he have any idea what the solution is or how to implement it and are the club willing to fund it......... I am not confident on either account

A good solution might have been Petrasso and Marshall but unfortunately SP was having one of his whims that week.

what we have at the moment samo is the product of muddled thinking so no chance of either of those being kept at the club or brought back

we have ..........formations that change 442, 352, 451 4231 etc, confused players that lack confidence and belief, we set up to catch on the break but lack pace, we set up to play a target man but fail to offer him any support or runners, set up to play a high press but our back line sits deep in our half, a stubbornness to see what is in front of them and to make simple changes, a repeated insistence of playing to a system not the strength of the squad, players put in positions they are not suited for, players discarded without been given a proper chance, players moved on but not replaced, money wasted on poor or often injured players ............. the list just goes on and on. Strikes me SP doesn't actually know what to do to sort it out and just throws ideas at the situation hoping it might work

the only constant seems to be that we are too scared to actually set out to win a game, and the stats that matter are against us not for us....... possession is worthless if you do nothing with it, even worse if it is only in our half

well we've lost 5 players so far in this window, & temporarily secured 2 who were already in the squad,
seppala -(she tells waggot who lets fisher know, & waggot tells SP), is therefore reducing the squad yet again,
meanwhile our plight becomes more acute,
imho not fit & proper owners

I like this because it sums up what the manager is and isn't doing correctly. Though we are not football managers or have coaching badges, we can all see as layman what is not working out at present and the misuse of resources he has at hand. Begs the question also about back room staff....what is their role? Do they see what we plainly see? Are they not allowed to interject? Can we believe Mr Sky Blue Oggy will stand by and watch it happen without input?
Lots of questions for me but the buck must stop at SP's door surely?

Hi OldSkyBlue

I don't know if you have seen my other post about trying to get all fan groups etc, fans together But I am looking for some information for the meeting and I am hoping you may have it.

What I am looking for is how much does running CCFC cost per annum on average, I could look through the books myself but I am hoping you may have this already (fingers crossed)

And, there is always a and. Would you know the amount of debt we currently have, and just high level figures of assetts.

If you don't please dont spend any time on it, I will try to get the Information.

Are you still saying that we should keep SP or have you finally seen the light?

Seppala: Steven can you and The manager come into my office for a chat?
Waggott: Hmmm...yes sure I will call him and get this arranged, can I ask why Joy?
Seppala: I would like to talk about the transfers.
Waggott: Yes Joy I will fetch him immediately (Steve hangs up with a smile on his face thinking he has got some more money to give to his rubbish agent mates)
Joy: Thanks for coming guys, I wanted to say its January and although the sales are on, I have got no intention of giving you my credit card yet again to go to Topshop and come back with cr8p frankly I could have got in Primark!! So please both clear your desks and close the door on your way out. Oh and by the way if you do want a decent reference you better ask the deluded idiots on the radio.
