Wasn't the JR about whether it was illegal state aid, not whether CCC and ACL had been dicks to the football team?

So you think LR's articles are about the football team. Lol. Lol alot.

Something I've been guilty of myself, havinga go at some opf the most uber Sisu out posters, who were the most vocal Sisu in posters for years before.

Ginetta especially, he's just an idiot.

His "Proud of the Council" for selling to Wasps merely one of the idiotic strands to him.

Every time you mention this-and it is a lot, as you admit-I have to point out that a lot of the most vocal SISU-out protestors have stuck to our guns since day one. Not you though, strangely...

But don't you and some of the other posters think that with what has gone on and where we have ended up exactly the reason why people should be banging Sisu/Otium's fucking door down?

If we have no Ricoh to buy where is the new one?

Why didn't they pursue the Ricoh before the eleventh hour if they really wanted it?

Where are the new signings we were promised to improve our squad?

Why the fuck haven't they sacked Pressley?

What exactly are their intentions with CCFC?

The questions about CCC/ACL will I'm sure be rolled out in courts all over the land in the coming years but we as CCFC need answers from Sisu/Otium NOW because we are on the verge on falling into L2 and further into oblivion.

But hey, I'm sure we'll get shit loads more threads about the Council fucking us over and Wasps are bastards and asking them questions way before people start looking back at Sisu and where we are and what they propose to do about CCFC and sorting out the problems with the team/club.

With regard to the Ricoh, it's clear enough that SISU tried and failed once, and then weren't invited to try again. I can entirely understand why the council, or anyone, would struggle to deal with them but that doesn't mean selling to Wasps (a franchise!) whilst pretending to rebuild trust with the club is right either. There was a chance to get this all sorted, maybe a slim chance, but for once it was the council that shut the door, and they did it forever.

As for the on-pitch problems, where to even start. If you think it's mostly down to SISU, I'd agree. I'm not sure about sacking the manager because we've been down that road so many times that I'm far from convinced it really works. Having said that, if he goes I won't be entirely inconsolable. We'll have to pay him a fair wedge though.

Demanding to know a plan from SISU with regard to a new ground - utterly pointless, imho. I'll believe it when I see a shovel in the ground. However, whether you like it or not that's now a lot more likely now that Wasps have got ACL for 250 years.

Surely there is a difference in the way opinions changed. Following everybody else or taking the time to look at things?

Agreed with that. It's only logical that someone who initially supported SISU no longer does so based on their actions and behaviour.

The truth
You ignore the JR verdict but pick up and fight the Sisu cause from a few newspapers quotes. Classic.

Seriously what the fuck is wrong with you. The above post attacking Nick is complete and utter shit, and drivel. There is nothing in his post fighting the SISU cause.

You come on the site wumming about Wasps to get a reaction, or alternatively crying that you have had enough and its your last post on the site yet again. You are acting like a fucking clown.

Get a grip and grow up, or if not fekk off and take SISU with you if you would be so kind.

When have I said Sisu In? Or that I want Sisu at the club?

Point me to one post, and I'll admit I'm a huge Sisu lover.

Think Sisu will stick around til they get their hefty sell on fee from the sale of Bigirimana for £35 million.

For that, you are responsible for their continued hanging around.

And I would usually agree, the same as people who thought CCC had done no wrong now think they have.

It is the polar movements I am talking about, from one extreme to the other. Maybe I just fall for the WUMming. ;)

Of course, surely people would still be annoyed at others to blame though?

Annoyed, yes: but blaming other parties disproportionately suggests a prior bias.

You know what I mean, the way that you spend so much more time criticising other parties compared to SISU. The last time I mentioned this to you, you replied saying that you'd already given them plenty of grief in the early days and that everyone is doing it anyway, so what's the point? If you really were so anti-SISU in the early days, why are you not now when they've given you so many more reasons to be so?

Why is that?

OK Nick you asked.....

The most respected poster on this site IMH mentions about our run of games coming up and how our squad has shrunk in size. Suddenly it becomes a bash CCC thread yet again. About half the threads these days become CCC bashing. As in taking threads off track. But if any thread became about SISU bashing you would be straight out saying about keeping the thread to topic. Well this one certainly didn't but you don't have a problem with it.

This is supposed to be a place where we can chat about football and our football club. But it doesn't seem to be allowed anymore. The only threads allowed to stay on track are the CCC bashing ones. And personal attacks are allowed to keep any threads on the CCC attacking line. Fook me what is wrong with saying how difficult the FOOTBALL GAMES and our next 7 games look? We are only 3 points out of the relegation battle and our best chance in this run is to pick up points away to Yeovil. Fuck it CCC are a bunch of wankers and lied to us. They have let our club down. They have fucked our clubs future up. I must remember to say this in every thread........just like you don't have to say how much you dislike SISU all the time.......

Yes, but I would promote him to football director. He's clearly overburdened with work, so relieving him from the responsibilities of the first team would seem fair. Then bring in a new 1st team manager without having to pay compensation to Pressley.

That's funny, I always try and keep the football threads on track but get abused usually for it by people who dont like SISU?

Do you really think I have the time to moderate and try to keep every anti sisu thread on topic???

It is amazing how many people now want to talk football when it isn't about SISU though?

There are tribes that have yet to be discovered in the Amazon basin that know how shit Sisu are, so really not the need to bang on about it quite so much.

It's become akin to waking up every morning and going "Oh, the sun rose again". Some things are now self-evident(though I would like to think that they should have been self-evident from the start, but many wouldn't have it and you would get accused of not being a City fan for not being overly enthusiastic about a litigious hedgefund owning the club).

The same who buried their heads in the sand about Sisu for years then seem to have to prove their anti-Sisu credentials by going in completely the opposite direction where everything Sisu do is bad, CCC, good, never any shades of grey.

I see what you're saying here, and I absolutely share your respect for the OP. However imho the question wasn't as much about how bad we're doing, as it was about why isn't anyone looking at how bad we're doing. The implication perhaps being that the council revelations are being used as a distraction from that. Given that, it's inevitable that people are going to pile back into the CCC/Wasps deal and whether it's good or bad. It wasn't really ever a thread just about the football this, imho.

I can not help thinking that in recent weeks the fans focus has been directed away from the shambles that is CCFC to other entities and other matters. It is of course not a new tactic but we are sharper than that aren't we?

Yes the stuff about ACL and CCC sells papers and furthers agendas but is it what should matter to CCFC fans? Yes there are questions for CCC to answer, perhaps not the leaps of logic and rewriting of history some put forward but yes there are questions. However it is all about the past isn't it. Surely what matters most is the now and the future ? the problems are mounting and our club/owners are not being challenged on them......

no goal keeper
players preferring to sit on the bench rather than play
no sight of any influx of any players - not even much speculation
at least 5 players gone from a small inexperienced squad with no replacements
players injured and the apparent discontent in the camp
a lack of clarity on the pitch
sterile turgid football
falling crowd numbers
disconnected fans
falling income
Commercial ineptitude
A vague 5 point plan for the future that has not much substance and in places doesn't seem to add up
a decent budget for L1 but so far failure after failure
cash flow positive but no money to spend
no news on the new stadium in fact no facts at all
18th in table looking over our shoulders at relegation
falling approval ratings for the manager
the lack of passion
the list goes on

then you check the fixtures for the next month
- Yeovil 24th
- Rochdale 5th
- Preston 4th
- Scunthorpe 17th (3 games in hand)
- Bradford 6th
- Sheff Utd 7th
- MK Dons 3rd

Concerned? ......... I know I am

But we should be looking at what CCC was doing last year and the year before shouldn't we.......:thinking about:

As you can see OSB from this thread alone there are alot who aren't sharper than that. They think they are sharper than everyone else who won't join them on their soap box but they're not sharper than that.

When SISU came to our club I said I was worried because it would all be about money. But I also said that we needed to give them a chance as their best way of making money was getting us to the prem. Once they failed to get us to the prem I was shown to be right about being worried.

Now now........ I did watch the Swindon game in the best pub in Germany. No I didn't join the match thread and no I wasn't impressed. One of the few casually watching with me asked " why are we watching this ?". Fair enough.

Back to Les Reid.... Sounds like a bitter journalist ... What is proof? Council leader " bigged up " part council company under pressure from a ruthless hedge fund. Joy wanted freehold or long lease with no restrictions. Council don't do that. So, is that a major scoop from an award winning journalist? I think not. How's the stadium coming along? What's our defensive record in the last two games and what new signings have made in the transfer window!

So it's a matter of you get more wound up now by people who used to criticise your anti-SISU stance now being vocal critics of SISU than you get wound up by SISU's actions?

Personally, I still feel the pain of SISU's actions like a fresh new wound each time that they act. And the older wounds have deepened over time to the point that I loath them so much, I rarely go to the matches now. I'd like to think that if you felt like I and 1,000's other do, that you'd still be vocally critical of them. I can't understand why you aren't. You're not numbed by it, you've just moved onto venting at someone else? Because someone else being partly to blame doesn't mean that SISU aren't still the main culprits behind our situation.

I can understand you being bored with the same old angry posts about them, but you'll have to forgive me as I didn't use forums in the early SISU days and mainly know you from posting against their enemies! I don't post about them as much as I used to, either, but I don't post as much, period. When I do, if I get to off the field matters, they invariably will be the subject of my ire.

Ah I get it now. Certain people on here saw it as SISU bashing so they turned it into CCC bashing. Someone will have to make a list of what we are not allowed to say unless we want threads to turn into CCC bashing. Fuck me bored of the whole thing. Would love to be able to talk football however bad things are. I never joined this site to talk about legal matters, hedgefunds or even the local council.
