He has plenty too btw - not in Abraamovich's league, but a Russian with a few bob to chuck about if he chooses.

How do you not get it? Seriously?! Anyone reading that can see that it means due to Bournemouth being in the Championship (the league ABOVE ours), that Wilson made the step up to that league with Bournemouth. That's a fact, no other way you can look at it.
How can YOU not get get it that a member of our senior management has come out with a statement that is, regardless of which division we are in, essentially downgraded our club - not our level of football?

Its seems our dwindling fan base still harbours delusions of grandeur. Bournemouth are where they are because they deserve to be. Managed correctly throughout the club, learnt from past mistakes, not living above their means, a positive feel and approach to their club who play attractive football with good players and the potential to make the Premier League, something we can now only dream about or a distant fading memory. Unfortunately the way our club has been managed from top to bottom, we are also where we deserve to be.
Some of what you say there is exactly my point.
The like of Bournemouth fully deserve to be where they are. And we deserve to be where we are!
However 2-3yrs ago who would have made statements inferring that they are a bigger club with more potential & more ambition than us & ours???
Now it seems we're becoming used to the idea - they've won! I wouldn't be surprised if plan (what is it we're onto now?) J may well be to run the club into the ground & write all the losses off against tax.
Still at least we will probably still have Wasps to cheer on.

How is saying Bournemouth is a step up - a wholly factual statement- downgrading our club?! Some of us are realistic about where we are... Which, if you look, is the division below Bournemouth and and about 40 places. And before there's all this crap about apathy and happy about where we are (as you seem good at misreading), I am not. I hate where we are and what's happened.

I am totally understanding of our place in things & we thoroughly deserve to be where we are. It is ok for us rank & file to realistic about our position....but Eni or management t have to project inspirational stuff. SW has projected very low inspirational stuff.
Has Ed Miliband come out & confirmed what he was heard by 20 odd people as saying regarding using the NHS as a weapon? It's taken as read by most that he said it...but he will not confirm it - because it would prevent any future inspiring of NHS believers!

Was it 'Live on Sky'?

As in the last game we had where a large amount of our STH's didn't even go to the game.

If we could take the entire Rochdale midfield on loan we might score today.

"Top of the championship" - no you are right they really are not in our league literally.

In league position...as a club & potential size we ought not be accepting we are anything less.
Leeds & Saints - to name two - are clubs that have been in similar dire straits to us in terms of league position but I'd be surprised if they would ever have classed Bournemouth as a step up even if they were where we are now.
If we were at home on TV on a Friday night & leading The Championship - there'd be a lot more than 10900 there.
That's the point!
But hey - you guys want to accept it that's fine by me.

When we were top of the second division (a long time ago I admit), we were getting gates between 20,000 and 30,000.
