Ransom = Vile prospecting cretin who has done well out of the City's demise and never looked back !
Elliott = Small time businessman, City fan, misled and probably led along by more powerful players !

What were the shares worth when purchased (ish)?

If it was me I'd have given those people a gesture of some sort to the value. ie season ticket for 4 years or something like that. What does a season ticket actually cost to the club? Yes I know they charge 400 quid, but when there is a half empty stadium I think that gesture and the good it would have done for their image from the start wouldn't have been a bad thing at all.

The truth is like everyone else I don't know all the details. I've met them both and certainly warmed more to Elliott who is at least a genuine fan. Ransom was only ever just after money for himself whereas I guess Joe wanted a deal for City and him to look like he'd brokered it with the kudos and fringe benefits that went with it.

It is bad, nobody can deny that when they were bought by people who are now dead :(

That's one of the reasons I can't understand why Joe elliott gets worshipped by the fans.

You should be asking why SISU needed all the shares and in doing so formed a closed shop.

But here we have Andy Thorn syndrome again. Blame Thorn, blame Pressley, blame Elliott, blame Ranson, blame Lucas, blame Wasps.

There's one ever constant. Employing or contracting these individuals. And continuing with 'Build Our Own Stadium' Fisher.

To hark back to that article, and contrast with how their tenure has panned out and not be angry is impossible

The shares were sentimental and symbolic value only. Anyone buying the club would have had to have them - The most enthusiastic collector of shares was Uncle Joe Elliot collaborating willingly like a WW2 Sonderkommando with SISU over it.

I think most of the people you mention can be blamed. It is all well and good blaming SISU when a player misses a penalty but surely you have to be realistic when looking at certain "parts" of the puzzle of what has happened here?

Of course they can all be blamed for various things, I also think if people weren't on here blaming SISU when our goalkeeper gets sent off or saying "Thorn is a great manager, it was all SISU's fault he failed" and just using tunnel vision as every single thing is only down to 1 set of people.

Ultimately apart from the penalty misses then yes everything is down to SISU...................everything can find a route back to their poor decisions and cost cutting !

"pick on" ?

This place cracks me up (in a bad way). A post about another fans forum descends into a row over who is right or wrong. People are just waiting to jump up and down over something and nothing. Its like a playground with all of the bickering.

Gmk is pure dogs dick and cov mad hahahaha

I do wonder If a fresh Issue may provide Fishers and SISU'S way out of it

A constantly used and awful misrepresentation of facts there Nick. A handful of posters at best lauded him in any way. Those who were labelled as his 'fans' merely stated that he was operating under very difficult conditions. Myself included. I haven't changed that view one iota.

But not wishing to get drawn into that debate again, I still bring you back to the central point that one body has appointed or contracted all of these characters; from Elliott to Ranson to Thorn, Brody, Subs-Bench Ken, Onye and now Fisher

There's one ever constant.

Indeed.

My fear is however that once this constant is gone, we replace it with the other constant of recent years, the one whose judgement has seen him align with McGinnity, Robinson, SISU...
