Yes I agree David hockaday even though he was a disaster at Leeds he was never given a fair crack of the whip and they have just done as bad when he left.
What I'm saying is he could of easily become a manager of another league 1-2 club not just our under 21's manager.
The writing is on the wall unless SP wins the next 6 games.

While SP is towing the Sisu line during his post match interviews i'm still not convinced Sisu will let SP go, even though result and standard's are poor... SP is doing exactly what is needed by Sisu, he is the one being questioned about his role and ability not the owners .. Questions about results, team performance, league position and transfers are allowing Sisu to bide time and dodge questions about future funding and stadium update's...
Hockaday im sure is been brought in as the safety net, but unless SP comes out and makes comments which put's the light back on Sisu, he will be safe picking up his wages..

Hmmm. I'd argue we were certainly more tolerant with Coleman (both owners and fans) than we had been of his recent predecessors.
So we have:
Coleman - kept on for a fair while;
Boothroyd - short, not sweet;
Thorn - tolerant there, kept on past sell-by date;
Robins - his choice to leave;
Pressley - seems to get a fair amount of slack.
For better or worse, I'd argue it's actually a SISU trend to show loyalty to managers. Surprising in a way really as, bar Boothroyd, we haven't really gone for Instant Success in that respect.

Why? There was uproar when the club once appointed a very cheap option - a scout who had flopped at Hereford. Sometimes you just get lucky. Now we need to get out of the very real threat of relegation and short term he may work.
Pressley to be fair to him did work in the sixfields season keeping the club up against impossible odds. Sometimes things work at least short term.
Gould I rate as our second worst manager in my supporting the club. One sandwich short of a picnic then - now there wouldn't be a sandwich in the box.

And the same will probably go for us when SP goes. Leeds owner clearly failed in creating the right environment for success to happen. No different from our owners.

You do know his history before Leeds, or should I say lack of history.
The way I heard it the Leeds chairman was looking for someone to be a face whilst the chairman called all the shots including transfers and possibly picking the side.
It would be interesting if SP did leave and if Hockaday took over would he be calling the shots. Or would he be choosen because he would allow the chairman to do it?

Yes or as tony says maybe we have a club and an environment when most won't succeed anyway. I am hating Pressley as much as anyone right now but no one can argue he hasn't been helped in any shape or form really, even robins didn't have minus ten points starts and move to sixfields etc.
Still want Sp to go though and if that means hockaday with his lack of experience then so be it, it's a Change and that's all we need right now.
If Jose mourinho came here tomorrow would results improve next game to Sheffield away? No same shit players.

Sisu aren't bothered what happens to the club, they've got far more important property related court cases to pursue. So Pressley is useful as he deflects criticism from their idiotic shenanigans. He's their lightning rod. The sooner we all realise they just don't care one tiny iota about what happens to the team the better. NOPM I say.

If it's true we've got a top half wage bill then Pressley needs to go as he's massively under performing, but if the reliance on loanees is due to other restraints there's an argument only an exceptional manager will improve us past any new manager bump. That said we might need that bump to avoid relegation.
I don't necessarily have an issue with backing Pressley, I'm all for stability, but he needs to be backed financially if so as he's obviously not going to perform with the current level of funding.
